Hotel Hetman

Perfect location,close to metro,tram, and other facilities of a big city, but in spite of it, it is a very quiet place. Good and tasty breakfast. Very professional staff,they helped me with my forgotten belongings ))

It seems a very old building, including some furniture. In my opinion, the only one thing that was absent was a refrigerator

I enjoyed the hospitable front desk staff and the daily room service. The room's air conditioner and bathroom with shower were fantastic. I felt confident about leaving my passport and important documents in my room, which I appreciated as a solo traveler. The location in the Praga district is close to the Warsaw Zoo and I was easily able to take daily walking trips across the Wisła to experience various museums, parks and historical locations.

The room had no view of the street and I didn't want to open my window because the nearby roof looked dirty. The breakfast was tasty with numerous options but could have been slightly more varied than offering the same eggs and sausage every day. Overall these are small details for improvement.

We had a large room with a balcony, our teen age daughter had a single room. It was perfect. Very comfortable, clean, close to metro. Lots of second hand shops in the area. A good and cheap asian restaurant just opposite to the hotel, Zabka in the corner, few bakeries ( but the breakfast is just fine, although it doesn't include pancakes or waffles).

On arrival they didn't give us the room we ordered ( a large room with balkony). I had to insist. I want to get what I paid for.

The Hetman isn't in Warsaw's old town, but it's close enough to be convenient without being overrun by other tourists, and it's got great public transit options just down the block. The breakfast was wonderful and diverse, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable and had very cool A/C available.

The parking garage was uncomfortably difficult to maneuver through, even by European standards, and the ramp was steep enough to qualify as an Alp. However, it was onsite and secure, so that was nice.

Old-fashioned well maintained hotel not too far from Old town (abt.15 min by walk). Historical building, touch of style, spacey room, free street parking on the front of hotel during weekends.

There is some space for improvement. Electronic room's key-card didn't work properly - we were not able to open our room's door when returned back to hotel. A guy on reception reactivated both cards, then we finally were able to reach our room (after few more tries). The sink in a bathroom was partially clogged. I can see both problems have been reported in other reviews long time ago, but obviously are not solved till now. The desk lamp in our room had electric installation's problems, I got light electric shock simply trying to switch it on

The hotel has a dated feel about it, but everything was in good order. Staff were particularly pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was fine, same as so many places. It was good to have secure underground parking, but you had to pay extra for it. Location was good since it was on a relatively quiet side road yet very close to a major metro/tram/bus interchange making it easy to get anywhere quickly. A bonus for us was over70s travel for free! We were happy with our stay.

Perfect location, close to the railway station and old city. Very nice breakfast.

Strange situation at the check in. As I booked the room via booking.com, it was already paid from my credit card the day before the arrival. But during the check in receptionist asked me first to tell him pin code of my card, and then to write down CVV code of it saying he needs to verify my credit card. Of course I refused to give him my confidential data and insisted that room was already paid. After that he agreed it was paid and didn’t ask for any details anymore. I wish to believe he was just confused about the payment, but it seemed like he died to steal confidential data about my credit card.

The room was big, cleaned every day, bed was somewhat comfortable. Pretty quiet when windows are closed. Metro station is not too far, shopping center and food stores are close too. The hotel had underground parking for an extra fee.

The one room had a strange smell to it, but after a few minutes, you would not feel it. The bathroom door was not closing properly. The shower water did not drain fast enough so you are left standing in a couple of inches of water at the end. The sink was splashy too. No spare electrical outlets in our room, only the one in the bathroom and a couple under the table (kettle and lamp plugged in). We stayed in two rooms and the other room had none of these cons.

Travelled with a partner both for a rest and vacation. The room was really good: a very comfortable bed, air-conditioning (it was +35 outside), good and stable Wi-Fi (was critical for us). Service: a very helpful and attentive approach both at reception and from room service team. Location: absolutely perfect! A walking distance to the Old Town. In the very nearby - lots of various cafes, restaurants, shops (and a huge shopping mall), a park, a beautiful catholic church, the popular Koneser area, etc. At the same time: it is really quite at night.

There was some confusion after the booking: I booked a room without prepayment (it is a bit higher price then) but started receiving messages that the hotel cannot process my card and the booking may be cancelled. However, it took us a quick call to the reception to agree on everything and have the issue resolved.

Clean room that had everything one might need for a short stay. Room looks exactly like pictures. Comfortable beds, great location close to warsaw east station. Nice places to eat 5 mins walking from the hotel. Surprisingly quiet area. Well connected with public transport to the rest of the city.

In our room we didn't have a fridge (although there clearly was a place for one). For me it wasn't a big concern, but it might be worth paying attention to it.
