Ibis Katowice - Zabrze

The manifold breakfast buffet and the prepared lunch bags for the departure day. The "Queensize" bed was very comfortable. The reception-team was always able to help us with questions. We could reach everything on foot from the hotel.

People once having a party in the room nearby in the middle of the night. A little wear here and there on the rooms interior.

The staff were exceptionally nice. Nothing was too much for them, always smiling a greeting. The food in restaurant was very nice and a good value for money, although the drinks were a bit pricey.

The smell of the carpets in the corridors by rooms. Although everything was very clean, the carpets were smelly. Also it states that there is air conditioning, which there isn't. There is a thermostat that you can set up but doesn't blow cold air into the room.

The rate was very good and in general everything was very clean. Was able to have my breakfast outside 😁 . Liked the location, close to public transportation.

I wish the breakfast items were somewhat covered. The egg and sausage chafing dish was wide open, no sneeze protection anywhere.

Ms. Ula from the reception lounge made my stay!!! There should be at least a dozen of Ulas like that. Friendly, smiling and very helpful, she solved my problems with internet connection consulting her private resources. She deserves a ride like hell!!

No carpet on the floor in the room is not comfortable... There was very poor pressure of water in the shower... 😞

Ibis is located in the heart of Zabrze, close to the train station as well as the Platan shopping centre. Which makes it the ideal place to book when visiting. The beds are comfy and always clean. The hotel is located just off a main road, but fortunately far enough to avoid car noise. Which makes it ideal for car owners, and the private parking is an added bonus.

The room standard feels a bit dated and the bathrooms are slowly starting to show their age.

Location. Walking distance to Aldi and big shopping Mall. Eight minutes walk to train station. Good breakfast buffet.

Only one TV channel offering English language on France 24 news channel. No mini bar fridge in room. Room rate exorbitant.

The hotel has pleasant and helpful staff. I liked the possibility of early check-in and late check-out for an additional fee, very convenient. good breakfasts. The hotel restaurant has good food. the room was cozy and clean. the room has good ventilation.

Excellent location close to the railway station and main square in Zabrze, only 2min walk to tram stops, shopping center etc. Good breakfast with many options, very polite and helpful staff. Good airconditioning.

Slightly confusing entry through a small gate and the restaurand yard / parking lot. Missed it at first :)

Noisy local guest drinking beer even together with staff. So noisy we had to go and calm them down. Breakfast superb. Dinner nice, lobby nice for meetings. Better than a 2star hotel.

Very good quality of stay for the price paid. Electric kettle and a bunch of coffee/tea/s to choose from. Quick check in, and very convenient way of checking out.

There's no electrical outlet near the bed which I think in today's times is a must!
