ANEW Hotel Centurion Pretoria

The room was adequately spacious; It was very clean; It had all the amenities we needed for our stay; The dining area was good; The food, Dinner and Breakfast was well prepared and great to have; Three cheers to the Breakfast Chef - he made us delicious omellettes, and he's a pleasant person to interact with. His Persona is definitely good for the environment.

The Chair in the Room was evidently worn-out: Noticed when I took the jacket off that I had thrown over the back support and it sort of hooked on a splinter. The rooms are not adequately sound proofed, as we could hear conversations of those individuals who are loud by nature when they walk through the corridor.

The hotel was within walking distance of the Centurion Mall which was convenient for shopping and meals.

The room I was in faced the highway and the constant traffic noise interfered with sleep. The neighbouring room had guests who had their TV on at high volume and even when I put headphones to hear music and cancel their noise I could still hear everything. I was only able to sleep after 12 midnight when they switched it off. Sound proofing would probably help.

I was very pleasantly surprised on my recent 2-day stay at ANEW - my first with the ANEW hotel group. Large comfortable rooms, large shower and nicely serviced by housekeeping. Strong (and quiet) AC (which was required at 40deg C when I was there). Pleasant working area in the room and strong wi-fi. Friendly reception and bar. Although there isnt a fridge in the room, the bar very kindly provided me with a bucket of ice. Will definitely be making use of ANEW elsewhere in the country on my travels.

I was scammed by the QR code on display at the reception desk (to register for their awards programme). The code took me to another site (which I wasnt aware of) and took GBP40 (R800) from my account. I have reported it to the front desk and did receive a refund from my bank. Other than this unfortunate incident I had no complaints. Great value !

Loved the space of the apartment room with lounge and kitchenette Everything worked and was clean and quiet at night to get sleep. The bed slept amazing! Shower was huge and strong water pressure. Netflix would have been a nice to have on the TV.

The smell of cigarette smoke in the passage wasn't great.. The view of the Hennops river with all the rubbish and litter was a very sad sight esp if ppl are visiting from other countries. Wish the municipality can clean all that litter under the bridge. Such a great location of looking at nature by the restaurant.. But not looking into plastic bottles.. And alot of rubbish laying all under the motor bridge. Mosquitos were annoying.. Don't open windows or patio doors at night.

The food service was bad, I wait so long for food after ordering 20 to 25 minutes is a bit long especially if I have to remind the staff that I ordered. I once order food to the room, the food came cold. It’s like if you’re booking is not inclusive of the buffet, nobody is taking care of you when ordering from the menu.

There was actually a lot to like, from the warm welcome at the reception to the clean room to the clean pool and the restaurant. I had made prior 'special' arrangements telephonically and upon arrival, realised that the staff went above and beyond what I had expected. Our stay was pure bliss.

Hardly anything, if I'm being honest, our stay was amazing. Whoever made the hotel playlist needs to get in touch with me ASAP 😅

The check in process went smoothly. The place was beautiful and clean. A walking distance to the mall and a safe place.

The staff weren't consistent about whether we're allowed to bring our own drinks to the pool section. We had 3 staff members telling us we could smoke hubbly, when we were busy smoking we got told by 1 staff member that we're not allowed to smoke. The staff need to know the rules of the hotel because now it looks like we're being disrespectful and breaking rules.

The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. I requested to change the room just to have a better view as the first room was facing the road. I was moved to a room with a better view and more space without hustles.

The fact that I booked for a few days. I wish that I had stayed longer.

Well the breakfast was good but for us the dinner was amazing... I will definitely won't mind to come back for lunch or dinner with friends even if is for o e day so to the chef my partner and I respect you so much. Thank you

I didn't appreciate that we had to waiton the line for ironing board.. I just feel like a hotel that has more than 187 rooms should have more than 100 iron boards.

not enough parking was charged double for accommodation,no reply from management about refund loud party in lobby bar someone threw up in elevator marijuana being smoked in rooms that made whole hall way smell asked for refund to go to different hotel, still waiting for management to contact me about refund and bad experience paid double the price I booked for and was only there for 5 minutes no manager on site to reign in the party animals taking over while other guests are trying to sleep terrible service i want my money back and management to at least acknowledge our emails and calls a shame that such a beautiful hotel would allow such abhorrent behavior. employee double charging a guest is unacceptable,they had our booking with rates clearly stated
