Creto Hotel Myeongdong

The hotel was really near the station exit and shopping area in Myeongdong which makes traveling around very convenient. Will recommend using station exit 1 if you are traveling with luggage as that exit has a lift and escalator. The room was clean and the staff were helpful and able to communicate in English. Do note that the AC is not adjustable during the autumn/winter seasons as heating is turned on but you will be able to open the windows to adjust the room temperature.

Location was great as it was within walking distances to Myeongdong Station. The staff also cleaned the room daily and refilled the amenities which was thoughtful. Staff was also friendly and assisted to hold our luggages before our check in at 3pm, which we appreciate as we could take some time to explore the area since we were early.

Room definitely feels a bit smaller than expected but has everything you need. During the season change, mosquitoes were noticed but it was gone as the weather cooled further. Also, the rooms definitely need some paint jobs as they definitely don't look good.

Hotel allows the storage of luggages before check-in and after check-out. The beds are comfortable and there is hot water for showering. The location is near to the metro station and shopping streets.

There is no space to open my luggages in the room. The cooling system was switched off from mid October onwards, even though the weather has yet to cool down. Hence, it can be quite stuffy.

great central location. good service from staff. there was a weird smell on our room though - smelled quite damp. good service, would arrive to clean room :)

Great location at the end of Myeong Dong Night Market where the night crowd and noise won't disturb you. Very friendly and helpful 24/7 front desk staff who is always willing to go the extra mile to help. Was really helpful with the water cooler at the first floor and the cosy business lounge where you could settle quick meals with the kids. Coin Washing machine and Coin Drying machine were extremely useful as well. 7 eleven was conveniently located just opposite the hotel, in case one would need anything. Overall, a great experience for the price we paid.

The rooms were a little small and there isn't much space to place your luggage. I stayed in the Family Twin Room with my 9yo and 3yo. Apart from the bed space and a small tight area at the desk, there really isn't much walking space.

This hotel exceeded expectations and I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The rooms might be a little cosy for two people but was roomy for one, with a lovely east-facing view so you could see the sun rise. The hotel was warm without needing the heater on and the beds were large and comfortable. The showers were hot with great water pressure and it was a real bonus having a washer dryer downstairs. The location is a stone's throw from the heart of Myeondong and transport, at the quiet end of a busy street. I loved it and would happily stay again.

The hotel's EFTPOS machine wouldn't accept either of my cards (a Qantas credit card and ING debit card) on the night of my arrival. The lovely manager let me stay regardless and luckily I was able to pay the next day using the 'tap' function (which hadn't worked the night before), but just a heads up that Australian cards might have an issue at first.

Location is very accessible but in a quiet area of Myeongdong

everything was awesome! hotel located very close to myeondong subway station; next to the hotel settled 7eleven, myeongdong night market, many clothing and cosmetics stores (also near to the spot located “shinsegae” which is excellent cause a lot of western brands here) the staff are so helpful and kind! when we arrived we haven’t exchanged money yet and manager allowed us to check in and later pay for the hotel, it was so nice cause our flight was long and we were literally exhausted thank you so much for having us🫶🏻

We loved the location! We also loved how they had family rooms with bathtubs perfect for kids! It was extremely clean and no dirty smells at all which we love! The rooms was good enough for sleeping showering chill abit to prepare to head out. The room cleaner was extremely accommodating to our request of cleaning our room between a specific time. Creto Hotel Myeongdong was perfect for our family of 3! Thank you! If we do come back to Seoul we will come back to Creto Hotel! 🫰🏻

Price was a little bit pricey but we are ok to spend.

Location is great. It’s a walking distance to myeongdong station, 12F Daiso, 10-15mins to myeongdong night market. Alot food and 7-11 is nearby. Cleanliness was good and staff was good as they speak english.

Even the room indicate for 3 pax, its really small if u are staying with fully grown adult and u have 3 big luggage. No storage place for ur luggage. Even a very small space for u to hang your clothes
