Hotel Peyto Samseong

The location is good to be near to Coex and Hyundai department store.

The room attendant was a little bit rude when taking the same elevator.

This is perfect location if you are visiting Coex complex - it’s basically across the street. Perfect location for getting to/from airport as well - direct bus from ICN stops across the street at Coex stop. Hotel is modern, clean, all amenities are there. Complimentary water every day and very nice daily room makeup. Metro station is in few minutes, Hyundai department store across the street, Gangnam neighborhood very close. Center is approx 40min with metro.

For my preferences the bed was bit to small for a couple and no availability of breakfast currently was bit pitty, bit these are not really minuses.

The location was great. It was near COEX mall, a lot of restos around and about 10 mins walk to the train. We loved the bed too! The bed was so comfy!

It took a while for the room temperature to get adjusted. There was an instance when the room we had didn’t adjust and the room was getting hot. We called front desk about it and we couldn’t believe the person on the phone - she said to just leave the door open so it is not hot. We were shocked to hear that from someone in the hotel staff. Also when we were checking out we were asking about tax refund and they said they don’t do that in that hotel. We were disappointed because we were able to get a tax refund slip in the other hotels that we’ve stayed at.

Not many hotels offer Single Room - this hotel fulfils this niche. This was the main reason I chose Hotel Peyto. The Samseong location is great. There is a direct airport bus (6103, stop at the Grand Intercontinental). Also to get to the subway, it’s just a short walk to the Samseong station (exit 5 on Line 2). There are also lots of food choices, especially the basement food court at the Hyundai Department Store which is just across the road. The room is new and very clean. I can walk barefooted on the hardwood flooring. The layout of the room is fantastic. It’s really neat, with clean lines and amenities that are hidden from sight.

Well, I arrived around 10am and they wanted to charge me extra (I think it was ₩22000) for early check-in. Of course, this was within their rights, but I was not inclined to pay extra and negotiated for 12pm check-in. To their credit, they agreed.

Location, staff attitude, room size, amenities, service. Comfortable bed, good lighting, multi-adaptor. It is located at the end of the COEX block away from the convention centre - a great reason to move a bit more when at a conference, but it can be a bit far for anyone with mobility issues.

Unfortunate design of shower over bath - you have to be very, very careful and use the shower curtain all around the bath; otherwise shower water flows onto the bath surrounds and floods the bathroom. Two lifts only - quite a bit of a wait, especially during rush hour when everyone is checking in or out.

Comfortable though compact, clean and modern. It was a bit of a walk from the Subway entrance, but it was easy to find, right on the main street. There is a convienience store below and a Mac Donald's next door. There are some other cafes within easy walking distance. The electric kettle was in the closet. Complimentary tea and two bottles of water were available. I liked the way the ambient lighting had different settings for energy levels at night. It was well designed throughout the building. The shower was hot, the nozzel was wide, so you were well covered. I was able to leave my luggage after checkout.

Using the elevator was confusing at first. You have to use your key card to activate it if you want to go to any of the guest floors. This is not a problem, actually, is is very reassuring. However, the front desk did not tell me this, and I spent several minutes stupidly trying to go up to my room and having nothing happen. Luckily, it was late at night and there was no one to see this ;)

I booked Hotel Peyto for events in Jamsil for 3 nights and it was the perfect location - it was one subway station away, and a 5 min taxi ride when I was too tired after the concerts. The convenience and location was perfect - Airport bus is a 5 min walk away, it is across Coex and Hyundai Mall and there is a McDonald's and a convenience store just a few steps away from the hotel. It is also one of the bigger hotel rooms I had in Seoul, enough for a double bed, and a small coffee table good for 2 people - quite roomy for 2 people with a lot of bags. There is also parking available for guests - will definitely book again when I have an event in Gangnam

The hotel is just across the street from Coex and the airport bus terminal. It’s convenient to get to nearby places like Lotte world, etc There was ample room to open all the luggage at the same time which made packing and unpacking easy. The 7/11 downstairs was also very convenient.

The extra bed was a little shaky but everything else was great. Water dispenser would’ve been great too

Very comfortable beds. Close to the subway Station and transfer to the airport is right across the road. Cleaning lady looking after my room went above and beyond every day. Good strong WiFi and having mini fridge was handy too.

Reception staff could pretend to be a bit mor interested in welcoming you! Or perhaps they were having a bad day. Does not matter what you do, showers will overflow and flood the bathroom floor. So be very careful when stepping out of the shower. Really poor breakfast. Quality of the bread and coffee was poor also and after trying their stale croissants one morning, we didn't have breakfast again for the rest of our stay there.

I visited Seoul for my COEX exhibition trip for my work. This hotel was located just in front of the City Airport. Extremely convenient location knowing that I had to travel to City Airport. Room was very neat and clean and had essential amenities, It was spacious enough for solo traveler.

Wish staff was little more accommodating. View from the room was bit sad as it was facing back of the buildings.
