A wonderful hotel right next to high mountains and a large park and temple complex. The interior is reminiscent of a Harry Potter film, where everything around is in English style and slightly shabby from the past century. It looks quite interesting, like a museum in England. Also, in the hotel, every floor really has museum exhibits of a certain genre in music and films, famous singers and actors of the past. Their filmography, signatures, history, awards, etc. are exhibited. It’s interesting to walk and see and read about them. Inside the hotel there is a lounge area and a 24-hour mini store where you can buy souvenirs and a quick snack and water. The hotel also has a working restaurant, the food is very tasty, you can order to your room. There is parking on site. Room: cozy, comfortable. The window offers mountain views. The beds, blankets and pillows are nice and comfortable. There is a kettle and a set of tea/coffee. Two 0.5 liter bottles of drinking water are also provided every day. Bathroom: shower and hair washing kit provided. Soft towels. There is a bath where you can pour hot water with foam and relax after a walk in the mountains. The sink is located low enough, just right for children, but for an adult above 168 cm it is a bit low. A teeth cleaning kit is also provided. The rooms also have bathrobes. Breakfast: large and varied. Fresh. Delicious. It’s worth taking if you want to refresh yourself in the morning and be satisfied. Coffee, pastries, greens, salads, snacks, soups, rice, meat, fish, eggs, yoghurts, juices, water, etc.

The closest hotel to the entrance of National Park. It was old but clean with English style decorations. Each floor has different theme that is very nice to have Korean singers and musicians included too. We didn’t have breakfast and dinner at the hotel but inside the park there were many restaurants and coffee shops to choose. We enjoyed our 3 days staying here, great mountain views from our room windows. We were able to adjust our room air condition too and had no problem with hot water at all.

Do not open the screen windows because at Seoraksan there were so many harmless bugs that will get inside your room really quick once you open the screen. I didn’t mind pick them up (inside the room) gently and let them out.

The staff is really wonderful, very helpful and very hard working. The young ladies and men at the desk do everything, and in general the hotel clearly appears to be understaffed. The breakfast is wonderful, and has improved over the years.

The hotel is understaffed. Even though they do exceedingly well there would be need for additional staff. Also some aspects of the facilities would need refurbishing, like electric connections. Some furniture are overused and have been made dirty over time (like armchairs). The owner should invest more in the facilities and the staff.

Location is unparalleled, being footsteps from the entrance of Seoraksan National Park. The closest hotels/motels/guesthouses are another 1km out. The service is great, with staff speaking decent English and taking the initiative to offer assistance. We stayed 3 nights in March, and were pleasantly surprised to be able to check in at 11am and even got upgraded to a bigger room!

Unfortunately, the bath water does run a little cold, per earlier comments.

Location is superb if you're planning a really long hike in the Seoraksan Park. You can get to park entrance by foot in 5 minutes, so no wasting time for transfers, you can go there right after breakfast and go to shower or to sleep after you are done walking and climbing. Breakfast is quite agreeable btw. Steaks are also OK. Nice view from the room balcony.

Hotel facilities look like they have seen better times, to put it mildly. The design is... quite unique. I wish this place was taken better care of. Also we found several old hotel slippers under our bed, which implies we were the first to even look under it.

This location and this hotel reminds me my vacations in Swiss Alps. The breakfast is quite good. Dining salon has a very beautiful view especially in the winter. After a long hiking, it is a nice place to rest.

I would like to have an option when I don't choose open buffet for dinner. I don't drink alcohol and eat pork etc. I should have another option in the hotel restaurant for a dinner.

the hotel staff spoke good English and were very helpful. Jeong even helped us to book bus ticket as we needed local phone number and credit cards for booking. All were very courteous. The room faced the mountain and had good view.

only one single sofa in the room and one more chair would be a good addition. The price was high as we were left with choice of executive twin room.

The hotel is only 5 minutes from the National Park entry so that all hikes could be reached without delay. The hotel terrace on the top floor had a great view of the mountains. I stayed for three nights to give me full two days access to the park and enjoyed my stay very much. For people without a car, the hotel is easily accessible as there is a bus stop right in front of it.

I skipped breakfast as it was somewhat pricey. As I stayed during the week (in May), the in-house restaurants were not open in the evening (only on weekends). Be prepared to eat outside.

View was good for those rooms with mountain view. Some counter staff were friendly, only 1 particular lady during my check out wasn’t that approachable. Staff at breakfast were wonderful too and definitely very helpful as well. The family triple was a good size - double and single for those with children.

The towels (bring your own towels unless u don’t mind towels with heavy detergent smell) Bath tub needs some cleaning if you intend to soak in it.

great breakfast rooms were large vicinty to the city. about 10 minutes drive.

on day 2 the hotel decided to cancel the buffet breakfast. becuse of too few visitors. Well, ok. but it took the breakfast crew to bring us 4 plates of eggs about 30 minutes and coffee about 45 minutes. after one hour we decided that we could not wait anymore and left without completeing the breakfast.
