The location is great and the food from the restaurant in the 26th floor is excellent (full board). It is not exactly beachfront but since it is way taller than the building in front the views are spectacular. The sandy beach was a 5 minute walk from the hotel and the sunbeds with umbrella were EUR 27 per day. All staff were amazing they remembered us and show us to our table straight away and the rooms were always spotless

There was no pool and the halls had a bad smell but the rooms didn't smell. There is only 2 lifts so you do have to wait to get in

On our trip to Alicante this was the first hotel we stayed at, and it definitely exceeded our expectations. To begin with we were able to check in late at night without any problems, as our flight landed quite late. The staff at the reception were great and helpful with any questions we had and checked us in quickly to our room. We had booked the standard double room and were delighted to find that although it was supposed to be a ‘budget’ hotel for the night, it was in fact such a spacious and clean room and even had a little balcony with a beautiful sea view for us to wake up to and enjoy. We also included breakfast during our stay at this hotel, and it was amazing. The breakfast variety was one of the best we have seen during our stays around Europe, with delicious bakery treats, fresh juice, coffee, and tea for us Brits who need a cuppa to start the morning with and so much fruit. We especially enjoyed the waffles, maybe more so than we did in Brussels! We would 100% recommend booking a stay at this hotel for families and couples alike, it is budget friendly and worth every penny we spent. It is also very central to Alicante tourist spots and there is access to halal food very nearby. The only problem we faced is if you land at night like we do, the hotel can seem slightly hidden as it is not very clear that it is the hotel, but that aside we would definitely stay here again. The hotel staff are very welcoming and the room was very comfortable with a lovely view of the castle. The views from the restaurant and breakfast room, overlooking the harbour and the beach, were equally lovely. I booked half-board and I enjoyed the food very much. As a single female traveller, I felt very looked after by the restaurant staff.

This is more a preference than a criticism, but I would have liked access to hot drinking water outside of breakfast and evening meal times. It was quite cold in Alicante in January at other times of year, I may not feel the same way!

Good base for a city break close to beach and walking distance to restaurants and bars. Higher floor was quiet and had great view to the marina and the Santa Barbara Castle. Best buffet breakfast of many hotel stays. Relaxed dining area and lots of choice fresh fruits,pastries ,cooked food.

Small point.Would be good to have option of hotel umbrella at reception on unexpected rain days we had. Also hotel bar shuts at 11pm which we hoped maybe open even til midnight.

The staff was very friendly, the bar at the top had excellent drinks and a great atmosphere, the room was large and very comfortable, but the best part of all were the incredible views! It's absolutely worth spending the little bit of extra money to get a room with a view, I promise you won't regret it! Also, while the hotel doesn't have its own parking garage, they do have a deal with the nearby Parking Plaza San Christobal.

The bathroom was a little dated, and it's unfortunate that the hotel doesn't have a spot to drop off and pick up your luggage if you travel by car

We loved the location of the hotel, and our room on the 20th floor with a view over the castle, the harbour and the old city. The receptionist was kind and helpful, check-in was fast. The room was spacious, the bed huge and comfortable. We especially loved the kettle with the tea and coffee choice in the room, plus having the coffee at the balcony with the superb view! The breakfast restaurant on the 2nd floor is overlooking the promenade, the breakfast was very rich :)

The room walls are very thin. Despite of being extremely tired, we could not fall asleep until 01:30 because of the noise the next door guests made. I called the reception and they sent a security guy to solve the matter. :)

this hotel is right in the center very nice location. everything is really very close. everywhere you are in alicante you see this hotel easy to find your way home.

the hotel has 26 floors with a bar at the top. we thought we would like to grab an upper room with a view. an elevator was not working so all floors had to be reached by 1 elevator. no problem, you think, but if you are on the 18th floor and you have been waiting for 15 minutes for the elevator that does not come, you will have to go down the stairs anyway. 😮‍💨 still no problem but we stayed here for 4 days and then you get a bit tired. hotel otherwise fine but a challenge to get to your room

Premier Room - did not disappoint! Fabulous views from the huge balcony however the 24th floor may not suit people afraid of heights! Great location and many lovely bars, cafes and restaurants near by as well as the beach and the shops, perfect!

Nothing! Just a 'nice to know' for other guests....... There was a bit of a wait for the lifts after breakfast time on level 2. We did walk up the 22 floors of steps to our room on the 24th floor but we have relatively good fitness!! Just be prepared for a wait if you have difficulty with steps.

View is perfect, location is perfect. Room has enough space to stay with a family of 4(2 small kids). Restaurant on the top floor has a brilliant view and a tasty food.

overall renovation is pretty old in the hotel. hotel has 2 elevators and sometimes you need to spend 3-5 minutes more to wait elevator, especially if you leave on 20+ floor :) If you travel by car - there is no way to park near the hotel, you need to find out address of parking in advance from the hotel, park car there and then walk 5 minutes to the hotel ;)
