The pool bar, the decorations and plants, the breakfast buffet, the service, the restaurant by the pool (la palapa) - paella was amazing!

Not having free access to the spa, the noise from the restaurant on Saturday night (the room was right above the restaurant), people breaking rules at the pool and being very loud, the beach right in front was not too nice, the access to it was a bit tricky and there were no sun-beds.

The hotel looked great and had a lot to do. It was great to have 3+ pool options, and I loved the swim-up bar in particular. The spa was also very enjoyable. There was a lot of food selection, and I thought the quality was great when you take into consideration how much they making for each meal. The room was nice and the bed was comfy, though the decoration felt a little bit dated. Even without a sea view, the mountains were nice to wake up to.

The drinks were a little expensive considering the price of half board, but they didn't skimp on the strength! Also, not all of the spa facilities were available when we went. Some of the staff were not overly friendly, but they were still very polite and I think there may have been a bit of a language barrier.

The location is very close to beach and was perfect for us. The room was very spacious, the beds very comfortable and clean toilets. Toiletries were very good quality. The property is very big with lots of things to do. The kids loved the pools and the beach. The reception was very helpful. Room service was very good. If you are self driving then the location is perfect as you get to the hotel right after entering Altea and they have free as well as reserved parking. It’s a 15-20 minute drive to the old town.

It was a hassle to lock the doors from outside. Took us some time to figure it out. The doors don’t self lock as you shut them. Turned out we left our room unlocked for the whole day we were out.

This hotel was exceptionally clean and well maintained. staff were extremely accommodating and breakfast was very good. We upgraded to a sea view room as the standard rooms look onto a busy road. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable.

The hotel is a fair walk to Altea so bring comfortable shoes. As the restaurant was a bit soulless we ate out most nights - taxi into town around €7. As the weather was awful, we decided to use the spa and were very surprised to pay extra - €50 for two people. This seemed steep, particularly as we had upgraded our room already. The spa was fine, usual stuff. On the whole, a nice hotel but felt just a bit stiff and ‘corporate’ for our needs.

Room service: Efficient, friendly and plentiful. If anything there is more food than most could eat. Thank you. Lovely views and all my requests re convenience and location were more than met. It was also quiet, despite the hotel being busy. Good WiFi.

The room key was temperamental and the QR code for the Room Service Menu was not in the room. It is not intuitive, when looking for a QR card, to be expected to switch on the television, it would heve been helpful if I had not had to walk all the way back to reception to get the code. I also dislike being asked to write so much to fill in this form.

Confirmed all previous recommendations. Could not fault the hotel experience, the staff and facilities. We have agreed to book a week here in 2024

Very little. A large wedding crowd used the hotel at the expense of other residents but that’s unfortunate and one has to understand commercial decisions by the hotel management.

Size of rooom and view was amazing. The cleanliness and helpful staff were a joy. The restaurants situated in the hotel were the best I have eaten in and the atmosphere perfect. Beautiful grounds and easy access to the beach and walks and beach bars Highly recommended and will be returning

only one little niggle there was free water the first night but not on the other two nights I think this needs to be every night as its 2 50 a bottle out of the mini bar thats all tho

Beachfront location; overall quite pleasant hotel. Room and bathroom are quite OK, all is clean. Breakfast has fair selection, staff is reasonably helpful, but lack of any English or other language other than Spanish was a significant hinderance. Lots of good places to eat around, on balance very acceptable place due to unbeatable location

Restaurants on the premises are not great and overpriced, this is largely compensated however by many restaurants around. Spa was a disappointment. Treatments are overpriced, and the access to sauna/ Turkish bath is for a fee -- EUR 30 p/person. To charge guests of the hotel for using facilities is more than strange. Hotel was designed as luxurious, but it looks tired and calls for some upgrade/refurbishment.

Very nice and clean hotel that definitely deserves its five stars. The people were very friendly, helped me with my enquiries and made sure my stay at the hotel was as good as it can get. To my surprise, all of them spoke perfect English and one even German, which helped a lot as my Spanish is sadly not very good yet. The room was nice and big and made it easy for me to feel comfortable. The balcony was great as well and had an amazing sea view. There were a few children at the hotel and I was surprised that I didn’t hear them at all in my room and even on the balcony. The breakfast and dinner were both buffets that I always really enjoyed. I have a gluten/wheat allergy and really appreciated that everything had labels that told me if it has wheat/gluten in it and therefore if I can eat it or not. Other allergies like lactose, fish and eggs are on the labels as well so people know what’s in it. The breakfast buffet even had a gluten free section with a toaster that was for gluten free bread only. There was more than enough options for me during breakfast and dinner which was must appreciated. The pools were clean and tidy and the beach is right behind the hotel. I also liked that on the day I checked out, I was able to leave my bags with them and still enjoy the pool until I had to leave to get my plane.

The only thing I can think of is that it would have been nice to have a shuttle service from the airport to the hotel.

The sea view over the pool was fabulous. The room was spacious. The pool area was really nice with a choice of pools and a swim up bar.

I had booked a sea view room and the first room I was given the view was blocked by 2 massive trees right in front of the balcony. They did move me but the first room was dreadful. The buffet in the evening was a very poor standard. Little choice, cold and food was canteen standard.
