Hotel Julia

Great location just on the edge of the old town with a public car park (discounted parking through the hotel) at the end of the street. Lovely foyer and a window in the room that opened. We used this hotel a base to explore the Ribero del Duero area and it is was a really good location for that. There are also nice walks on the rivers surrounding the city that can be easily accessed from the hotel.

There was no hair dryer (that I could find) in the room and I would prefer not to have to hand in my room key to reception when coming and going (that seems a little old school).

The hotel, which was in a great location in the centre of town, was really beautiful old traditional Spanish and the rooms were clean and comfortable. What set it apart though was the gentleman on reception, Jose. We arrived early in the middle of a motorbike convention but he checked us in and found us a fantastic parking spot which was free. He told us the best places to go in Aranda and even took us personally to a fantastic bar/ restaurant with it's own wine cellar. He was on reception again the next day and told us what we could next time we stay. Thanks again, Jose

The hotel was located in the centre of the city. The staff were very helpful. Jose could speak English and gave us the name of an excellent restaurant within walking distance. He was very generous and even gave us a couple of bottles of wine.

one couple stayed in a very tiny room with a tiny bathroom. The other couple had a king size bed and lots of room.

We were two Cyclists from the UK on a 1000km ride around Spain. We were guests in late April/early May 2022. The location was superb, the welcome generous and the rooms 100% as expected - Our needs are simple: hot showers and warm beds – both were delivered to a high standard – Thank You

Excellent location to visit the town, restaurants and the bodegas. Reception staff very helpful and gave great suggestions for food and underground bodegas. Whilst there is no parking in location, there is street parking a few minutes from the hotel which is really cheap.

The bathroom has no toiletries, ie. soap, shower gel, shampoo so remember to bring your own.

the male receptionist was very knowledgeable and couldn’t do enough for us he went above and beyond his duties to ensure we experienced all the town had to offer

No air conditioning in room and the smallest TV I have ever seen

The staff were very helpful and friendly, and very informative. Top marks.

The parking was a bit awkward, but that had no bearing on our stay. Will definitely use Hotel Julia again.

Super cool, eclectic hotel right in the heart of the city...Staff was great, really friendly and really helpful. Room was small but had a nice city view. Would definitely come back!

Wifi not good in rooms...better in public areas.

Good location and perfectly adequate accommodations.

An included breakfast tie-in with the cafeteria next door would have been convenient, since that is where we went, anyway. But, not a deal-breaker.

Great location and good facilities. Clean and comfortable rooms. Manager Jose was extremely helpful and speaks perfect English.
