Premium, new hotel in perfect location. Spacious room, good facilities. Fabulous ocean view. Not crowded (beginnig of July). Wide selection during breakfast and dinner.

Staff in poolside bar should be more customed related. Staff members do not speak English almost at all. The common language is German. I don't understand why people in Spain speak to me in German. Hotel offers both paid and free parking, but finding free parking spaces is almost a miracle. You should use public parking along the street.

Spacious room with great view on the ocean. Great pool area and the beach and ocean it's just a few steps away. The hotel has definitely met all our expectations.

I know it was late in the season - but the artistical moments during the night weren't that good. Wasn't any big deal - but maybe something that could be improved on

Very big room with a latge bathroom and terrace. Breakfast was very good, variery of lot of options. Beach access is easy.

Wifi is a disaster to connect and if you mobe around it toom ages to get a signal, it should be reviewed by the IT team. Paxing extra fee for a bathrobe is ridiculas in such a hotel. No minibar or complimentary water in the room… In off season your option to eat is only by choosing the buffet linch or dinner. This should be highlighted somehow as the area is total empty and closed you cannot go out for a meal or you should travel to Cadiz…

Great location near the beach and a couple of minutes walk from a mini mart and souvenir shops. Lovely facilities.

The things I didn’t like were because of me rather than the property. Lots of people during peak meal times…bit over-stimulating. Bar staff in lobby and pool bar were a bit slow sometimes.

a calm atmosphere that inspires a culture of relaxation throughout the hotel; the great design of the different spaces and the tasteful decor that makes you feel spoiled in every corner of the hotel; staff are really helpful, professional and engaging and work really hard to ensure you get a great experience. the food is really good and offers a great selection of dishes and fantastic presentation, including a good selection of Spanish dishes and delicacies; flavours are mainly mild throughout so also caters for those who are more difficult to please. there is different dishes at every service and there’s also plenty of vegetarian options around; the best in my opinion is the selection of desserts and cakes which you can’t get enough from. the rooms are real comfortable and spacious; the views from some rooms in building two of the pool and sea are breathtaking; two members of staff who deserve mentioning were Antonia and Manuel who worked at the end section of the restaurant. Antonia looked after us at every service. she made our meals even more special, along with Manuel; both offered us conversation and plenty of good humour; both really hard working professionals and attentive to all clients during every service. reception staff are really helpful and accommodating and the young member of staff who checked us in made our stay even more special by upgrading the room to my 82 year old mum; the whole purpose of our stay was to treat her to a nice break; my mum will most certainly be talking about this hotel and her fabulous room for a long time. thank you so much.

The room was very spacious, great breakfast with lots of options, friendly staff, close to the beach and you can watch a beautiful sunset upon the ocean from the cozy seats of the hotel's beach bar.

At the check-in, nothing was explained in terms of the facilities, what is available, when they are open, what is included in our booking, etc. You have to figure it all out yourself by asking. There was some brochure in the room with limited info and wasn't really up to date. Also, it was ridiculous that you need to insert coins to play pool at the sports bar, why ???

This was an incredibly special visit to Hipotels at La Barrosa because we were celebrating 35 years together and we were returning to a treasured location. My grandparents built a house here 50 years ago, I came every year as a child and my husband and I holidayed in La Barossa when we first met and when our children were small. The hotel had to be special and it didn’t disappoint. The location is simply stunning, right on La Barossa beach with its miles of clean fresh sand, Atlantic waves and simply beautiful scenery. There are no high rise buildings and the beach was almost empty. Try a visit to Chiclana de la Frontera where you can visit the traditional fish and veg market or about half an hour away are the lovely towns of Vejer, Arcos or Cadiz. The hotel room was spacious , spotlessly clean and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in . We chose half board and cannot fault the food . For breakfast every conceivable choice and the scrambled eggs were devine. For dinner we were spoilt for choice : fresh fish , chicken, pork or beef cooked in the grill to demand . Lots of healthy salads and veg or pasta , pizza ; take your choice . For deserts everything from fresh fruits to pastries and the most divine Panacota. As well as the indoor spa there is a beautiful outdoor pool where there is comfortable seating to take in the last of the sun's rays whilst having your favourite tipple or a cup of tea. From this area you can pass through a secure gate, down a boardwalk directly onto La Barossa beach. The really jewel of this hotel are the staff. They provided outstanding customer service from the reception (Emanuel) to the room maid service but the star should go to the waitresses (Alma) and the bar floor staff who were attentive and despite working long hours were always polite and friendly. It’s a long time since we stayed in a hotel and we cannot recommend this highly enough . Thankyou.

The only down side was the fact that the bar was so well lit it was like a goldfish bowl or airport lounge . The hotel put on music entertainment in the evenings but the space is so large and well lit that no one wanted to dance !!!! Although our room was beautiful it did not get any sun on the balcony.

Everything was superb and by far exceeded our expectations from a resort hotel with halfboard. Breakfast and dinner were both amazing with plenty of choices and great warm and cold food. The room was very spacious with a couch, a big bathroom with bath and shower. Staff was very helpful and friendly. There was entertainment every evening. The sauna and turkish bath can be booked for 45 min. per day for free and you’d have it for yourself or share it with one or two other couples. The indoor pool is nice albeit a bit cold. The outdoor pool was too cold for swimming. Beach is 1 minute walk.

The location is great if you want to be near the beach, but there is literally nothing else to do anywhere near. Good for a relaxed holiday. As an advice for the restaurant, we would have appreciated some non-pork cold cuts for breakfast.
