La Botica de Vejer

Perfect location in the centre of town, only a 2 minute walk from Plaza de Espana. Rooms are cosy but with everything you need, good hot shower with strong pressure and good air con. Our room had a great view over the surrounding countryside. There is a lovely shared courtyard where breakfast is served - toast, meats, cheese, eggs, muffins. There is also a communal fridge to keep drinks for if you want to sit outside in the day/night. But the best part is the rooftop terrace: big space with seats and sunloungers, and the best views in Vejer. Parking is straight forward. You can pull up in the Plaza to drop off your bags, then there are plenty of free spots on the road towards the outskirts of town. The staff explain all this and show you a map. It’s only a 5-10 minute walk back to the hotel.

The view from my room is spectacular, yes, of course lots of stairs but that is very typical for this town. Also, it’s one of the few places that had a very good breakfast included in the price. The staff in the morning we’re exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Parking can be very difficult in this town, we had to walk about 500 m from where we parked our car, but the view and say we’re definitely worth it.

Lovely small hotel in a great location with a beautiful little courtyard in the middle where we had breakfast each morning. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location is great - everywhere is within walking distance. Comfy beds and lovely big soft towels in the bathroom. Great place to stay.

great location away from the bustle of the main squares. very quiet at night. wonderful breakfast. also we stayed a couple of nights and it was lovely to do some trip planning in their breakfast area in the centre courtyard of the hotel during the heat of the day. rooms were very clean and we had a lovely window

Vejer has plenty of hills. it was a small climb to the hotel but worth it.

Solo traveler with 2year old road tripping around Andalucia. So glad we stopped in vejer as it’s just beautiful. getting the luggage to the hotel was a bit tricky but that’s the nature of the place. Elisa on reception was so helpful over WhatsApp helping me figure out what to do to get me, my 2yo and luggage to the hotel easiest way possible. Also set up an extra bed for my toddler in the room. breakfast was great and the view from the room was breathtaking.

The place looked great. White exterior, blue paint, all tiles and very Andaluz with pot plants left right and centre. The location was very central but it was more or less impossible to get there by car and it was a bit of a haul with the luggage though I can't blame that on the hotel. The staff were most welcoming and the information was first rate.

The room was small and basic. There were no horizontal surfaces to speak of, no desk or table. Unfolding the suitcase made an obstacle in the room. The bathroom was clean but pretty basic and the toilet seat particularly uncomfortable. The bed was really strange - it sort of sagged and slumped. Breakfast, in times of Covid, had to be asked for rather than collected from a buffet, so it felt difficult to ask for two bits of toast instead of one or a yogurt as well - my problem rather than theirs I suspect but uncomfortable nonetheless.

Great, quiet location, friendly, helpful staff, traditional and charming accommodation, nice breakfast, rooftop seating and sunlounger area with good views.

Area around wardrobe was a little dark. Not a problem really, it was a great stay and Vejer is a lovely place.

Great location in the old walled part of the town. Cute place, our room #9 had an amazing view of the square and the sunrise in the morning. Breakfast was included and was excellent. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Liked everything. We arrived by motorcycle so parking was ok but will be harder if you're in a car.

The room was quite small ( at the ground floor are the budget rooms) and the beds too soft

The walk up the lanes to reach the hotel are not for the faint hearted as there are a lot of uphills
