Hotel Plaza De La Paz

A really great place to stay. Very good value for money. Very clean and comfortable room and bathroom, with a superb view of the main square and just a few seconds from the main street of bars and restaurants. Also very easy to walk to the bodegas over the river for wine tasting. The parking the hotel arranges is also very easy. Hotel staff really helpful and friendly.

There are no breakfast / eating facilities in the hotel - this isn't an issue though because you are right on the main square and staff pointed out a cafe that was open in good time in the morning on the map.

Great location close to bars and restaurants. Friendly and efficient. Good secure parking (200m but well signed) Good communication. We were upgraded to a very spacious room on the 3rd floor with a lovely view over the square.

Difficult to find the hotel as the only access is in the square. There is short term parking on the road but it simply says for hotels and doesn't name this one. Luckily, the weather was good so it wasn't a problem to park and walk but in the rain or in peak season, make sure you check out the exact location in advance!

excellent location right on the main square. parking close by you have to reserve in advance. spacious bedroom and bathroom. Haro is a small town and some good restaurants located in the city centre. we went to fine dining (*) restaurant Nublo in a beautiful old palace. there are many wineries to visit in Haro.

didnt offer breakfast, but you can have one at Bar caffee Sol on the square. simple but fresh orange, excellent coffee and croissant or tortilla. hotel should buy a cofee machine for guests to get coffee in the lobby. small investment, happy guests :-)

very clean, freshly furnished, and great location! we had a great view over the square and hills in distance. 12min walk to the Station/wine zone, 2min walk to Haro’s cute tapas loop. surprisingly good double glazing so lovely and quiet! no restaurant of its own but a totally acceptable cafe (very traditionally Spanish, but plenty of options) 1min across the square. car park is …4min walk? easily found,(a little cosy if you have hired a substantial SUV)

nothing really- the three star rating is an accurate assessment of its facilities (albeit in an efficient clean delightful format!) so don’t book it if you are looking to relax in your room and hotel…..(the rooms are very nice!) - we weren’t, so not a factor for us.

The hotel is well located in the main square of Hora which had a vibrant feel to it on the night of our stay. The rooms are stylish with modern decor and appear fairly new. Very friendly receptionist who provided precise directions to the (optional) garage parking which is approx 200m on another street.

It should be noted that there is no food offering but that was not a problem for us as there are many good restaurants and bars very close by.

Extremely hospitable host! Even though the father only spoke Spanish, he personally would guide you to places and make sure that you were happy. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Excellent location right on the Plaza. Easy walking to many Bodegas, restaurants and cafes. Definitely coming back!

I was pleasantly surprised by how modern and comfortable this hotel is, which is located in the middle of Haro and a minute's walk from the restaurants and bars. It's a great place to base yourself if you plan on visiting the wineries. The hotel is easily accessed and the rooms are modern and clean. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. We arranged for private parking, which was well worth it.

Very central location yet very quiet. The rooms were very clean with complementary toiletries and ample space for storing clothes. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We have visited Haro twice before and stayed in different hotels - if we were to visit again we would definitely choose Hotel Plaza De La Plaz.

There was no one there when we arrived even though we had let them know our time of arrival. However, this was quickly rectified with a telephone call and someone came to check us in.

Spacious room, friendly staff, perfect location just in the main square in Haro. Parking garage is located 3 minutes walking distance away. Reserve in advance and the hotel will send you the instructions.

Parking garage is limited and a bit narrow, not a problem for small and medium cars

Right in the middle of town location great, rooms really clean and modern , more like a Appartment hotel; no catering but no need as the location means you can wander into the restaurants / cafes in the square. Great private parking really close and worth the Euro cost.

I really liked it location facilities all excellent not 5* luxury but really clean and modern rooms.
