Maresía Canteras Urban Hotel

Location is perfect, 4 minutes to the beach. Hotel is very clean and the roof top is so cozy. One minus was that Wifi didnt work the whole 3 days..my husband couldnt work. And keep in mind, that there is no air condition,just a fan..to consider in the summer.

Good location, very close to Las Canteras beach. The room and bathroom are a good size and very clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

You can hear some noise from the street early in the morning. Also the air conditioning didn't work. The hotel is advertised as having air conditioning on this site The staff told me at the time that they don't have air conditioning, they don't advertise as having air conditioning and they were only putting it in, our room apparently was the only room with air conditioning... Anyway they did provide us with a fan because it was very hot at the time, there was a heat wave!

The hotel is close to the beach and this makes it easy to find food along the front area of Las Palmas. The Hotel felt like new as it appeared to have been newly decorated. A big lounge downstairs could be used by guests if required. The staff were friendly too.

Not having staff on the front desk all the time meant that it was challenging to access the property on arrival out of normal operating hours. Better advice upfront about how to access the building is needed so that customers are not stranded outside with no way of contacting the owners. Although not advertised, it would have been nice to have a refrigerator in the room so that milk could be stored for a coffee or tea, as there was no food offerings on site.

The place is very clean and comfortable, you'll get the instructions about how to pick up your keys from the box in your Whatsapp before your arrival so you don't need anyone present at the reception. The owners are there in the morning for check-outs and later in the day they are somewhere nearby so in case you need anything, you can reach them by Whatsapp. The location is great, close to the beach with a lots of cafes and restaurants nearby.

The only little detail that could interrupt someones stay is that the rooms are not completely soundproof (at least our room was not - room 101), in case the neighbour guests are louder, you can hear it. But otherwise the stay was great and I would recomend this place to anyone!

- the walls are.paper thin, you can hear anything from other guests, but it's located on a quiet street, so at least there is nothing from outside - there's no option for breakfast, but plenty of good cafes near by - the windows do not isolate very well - there isn't a lot of storage space, only one clothes rack

The location is amazing! Super close to the Canteras beach, with many nice restaurants and bars around. 15 mins walking from the main bus station to the airport and very well connected with the main roads that lead out of the city if you rent a car. The hotel itself is very nice as well - the room was super comfy and clean, the common areas very cosy and the owners are extremely fast at answering any questions you might have :))) SUPER RECOMMENDED!

we are happy to have chosen this hotel, very kind and super helpful staff, rooms always clean and tidy, a hotel with attention to the smallest details that stands out from the usual and boring hotels. A special thanks goes to Andres who are been available at any time and for anything.

Andres was super friendly and helpful! The hotel was very clean, modern, and quiet. The thing we love the most is the location. It isn't quite beach view, but it was only a few minutes' walk to the beach promenade, as well as lots of restaurants and pubs, and a few supermarkets.

I think we booked one of the smaller twin rooms (kind of a last-minute booking), and it is smaller than it appeared on the photos. We also slept with the window opened on a Saturday night, and were awoken a few times by noisy people/music in cars on the small street right outside the property. Not really the fault of the property, as they did have ceiling fans that we didn't use that night, but just FYI in case that's relevant for you.

The place has an excellent location around the corner from las canteras. I love this part of the beach as you can enjoy both the waves and snorkeling. The room was nice and quiet with very nice beds and good smelling towels. The shower is great and a nice tv and good taste of decoration throughout the hotel. Welcoming staff and easy check-in.

Due to Covid the hotel did not have any additional service to offer. We would have liked a coffee(or coffee machine), fridge, breakfast or terras or lounge area or swimming pool. Unfortunately, the common areas were closed. We have stayed many times in this area and believe apartments have more to offer in these times of covid.

The room is in a great location - right next to the beach and lots of great restaurants and bars. The accomodation was spotlessly clean and everything was as given in the photos.

We seemed to get a very small room which I found to be less value for money. There is no kettle or fridge in the room (a kettle is downstairs however). I personally would have preferred to have a small fridge in the room or access to a communal fridge.
