Hotel Cardenal Ram

Fabulous building. Very conveniently situated for the town. Comfy bed, fridge facility, excellent shower/ bathroom. Very quiet with the shutters closed. Good, reasonably priced food in the restaurant.

Nothing really. It was quite difficult to find. Parked the car in the public car park (3.00€ for 24 hrs) below the castle and did the 12 min walk following google maps. We think we could have park closer as the car park extends around the perimeter to the school and sports centre. The final part of the walk to it was a bit confusing so asked for local help. It really was no big deal but worth knowing there is more parking than shown on google maps.

Beautiful hotel, right in the centre of the town. Quiet rooms. Very comfortable bed with plenty of room and fabulous views from room 302. The rooms had a walk in shower with two shower heads, one wall mounted and one rain fall shower head on the ceiling. The lift was very useful as the internal stairs are solid stone and quite high. The original features are gorgeous. It's a really lovely hotel and I would recommend it highly.

The hotel is super cute and its location is perfect. We got a room with views and it was totally worth it! Near the hotel there are many bars and restaurants. The castle and medieval walls are within walking distance from the hotel. Nice staff members and very clean. We parked the car in the public carpark which is like 5-minute walk from the hotel. I would recommend to anyone the hotel, great value for money.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable and the beds are excellent. It is a really lovely hotel and its location is great. The reception staff are very friendly and gave us good advice about visiting the castle.

We made the mistake of eating in the hotel restaurant. The food was not good we explained that my husband is coeliac but because we had 3 different people waiting on us we kept on having to explain it and he was served ice cream... fine... but then a biscuit was crumbled on top not fine....

The room was beautiful with a wonderful view and very comfortable bed. Very clean! We rented e-bike (high quality and new model Trek bikes) and the staff was helpful and enthusiastic about helping us get out and about on them.

Very quaint environs, excellent.

No arrival advice on parking, and how to access parking near hotel. A satnav parking destination would be most helpful, especially to prevent navigating heavy touring motorcycles through the steep, cobbled streets.

unexpectedly luxurious and comfortable rooms in a historic building with old fashioned vibe . great location at the beginning on Main Street in this hill fort town. Restaurant was much better than expected

Pleasant greeting, a lovely old building well located to explore the best part of town. Excellent meal, great value.

No mirror in the room, parking was a hilly walk away at 12 euros/day, in a very tightly spaced car park underground. No help with bags. NB free parking a slightly longer, hilly again, walk away, bags could have been dropped at hotel.

bed comfortable, room large, hotel historical features, caring staff, extensive wine list at reasonable prices, problem with shower handled quickly. Very attractive visually throughout- even the modern bits. Very good restaurant evening staff and service.

shower didn't function properly- difficult to control water temperature.; bedroom thermostat was almost impossible to amend and so rather stifling on first arrival and night; no mirror in bedroom and bathroom mirror was no substitute for this omission; breakfast rather boring and limited choices of fruit juices, breads and cheeses; locating hotel in street proved difficult via google map- this is not hotel's fault. Waitress serving breakfast could and should have some training in friendliness / smiling. Cheeseboard as starter was very disappointing despite staff attempt at decorative presentation

Water for shower between cold and tepid. Could do with another chair in the bedroom plus tissues and better quality toiletries
