Hotel Can Cera

This is a true gem! I am so glad that I booked in this hotel. It is the most beautiful, quaint, historical place, right next to the cathedral. The staff is excellent and super kind, and the cherry on top was their bar/restaurant: the breakfast is amazing, and their smoothes and salads are truly the best. The location is really wonderful, the castle is also a stone's throw away as our the main shopping streets. The hotel (room booking) is slightly expensive though but for a night or two, it is truly not a bad deal, given the location, ambience, room, and politeness of the staff.

Since it is an old-build, you can hear through the floors/ceilings. We stayed on a ground floor (main courtyard) room, and could hear someone in the above room moving. Though as long as it is not too late at night and someone not partying, I think it is manageable.

The location of the hotel was simply outstanding! We had a wedding in the Cathedral and it was literally 30 seconds away! We got a very nice big room underground! Super comfortable with big bathroom !

Unfortunately, every day we had big cockroaches 🪳 in the bathroom and the room. We did tell the night shift person but not much happened. We understand that May starts to be hot and there is risks of insects but 5 big cockroaches is really not the best and makes this stay an 8 instead of a 9. Last thing was the food/beverage facilities. At 16h30 there was absolutely no possibility to have a drink nor a bite.

Hotel was simply beautiful and location was ideal. Hotel has 19 rooms and the staff definitely make you feel individual and special. We had a free of charge upgrade which was totally unexpected but lovely as it was my mother's birthday whilst staying. We didn't pay for bed and breakfast but instead chose to pay and have the very organic choice of breakfast from their menu which was delicious .. oh and very large, so don't order too much. Bed and mattress was probably the best I've ever slept in. Rain shower always had hot water, the doors on the bathroom were glass (you can't see through them) but it did mean you couldn't lock for complete privacy but not a huge problem. Quite often saw people from outside trying to peer in through the hotel's glass sliding doors as it's just so pretty. Will definitely stay again!!! Much nicer than a huge modern hotel in my opinion. There are no twin bedrooms, however the bed size and comfiness was more than adequate

Good sized room, nice bathroom with excellent water pressure in the shower. Great view across the city (from our room). Comfy bed and everything that you would expect was provided - except coffee :-( Front desk were friendly and efficient, organised taxis and made good local recommendations.

Nothing really negative, just an observation..... The building is a great modern restoration of an old part of the cathedral complex/quarter, but as a hotel it is a bit soul-less. Everything is nice and new, but it is just rooms in a building. It's a good place to stay, but it's very like staying a concierge apartment building. It was expensive, too pricey for what it was I think.

Location is impeccable, right by the Cathedral, in close vicinity of tons of restaurants and bars. The property itself is stunningly beautiful and the staff is friendly, attentive and gives you a warmhearted welcome. After a few days I was moved to a room with a scenic view of the sunset over the mountains. Absolutely crazy beautiful. The breakfast was amazing and the coffee the best I tasted in the whole city. I would absolutely recommend staying here and I will for sure be coming back.

I booked for a same night stay on a Friday where almost everything was booked, so received their cellar room, which had a bit of a musty smell/air quality due to air not being ventilated properly from the bathroom. I was later moved to a better room. I imagine only the cellar room(s) have this problem - hopefully it can be fixed in the future. And if you book well in advance, I'm sure you would receive one of their better rooms.

Really lovely hotel in a beautifully restored building. We had a room with its own terrace. Fantastic location right next to the Cathedral & the Royal Palace of Almudaina. Even though it's in a busy part of the city the Hotel has an almost tranquil feel about it and was lovely to come back to after a day exploring the sights of Palma. All the staff that we met during our stay were really friendly & helpful. Bed was extremely comfortable.

The courtyard cafe closes in the afternoon. Would be great if this could stay open (just for hotel guests) until the early evening so that you could have a drink or cocktail before going out for the evening.

The hotel is a historic building in a stunning location in the old town right next to the Cathedral. Just a very short walk down the steps or through the old town to huge amount of shopping and eateries, tapas and bars. Beautiful character rooms with super comfy beds and linen bedding. Staff were really lovely and helpful.

What we didn't know at the time of booking is you can't get to the hotel with a hire car as it is in the old city so we had to walk with our luggage through the city in 35C and park the car 15min walk away. As a family of 4 with adult kids we had 2 rooms, the girls room air con just did not work until the staff helped get it working hours later (temps were in the mid 30sC!) , our room just turned off at 2am and we woke up cooking, the a/c screen not even working. Showers in both rooms flooded the bathroom floor and the girls toilet didn't flush sometimes. No tea/coffee making facilities or even pen, paper or hotel info in rooms. The elevator broke on the last day so we had to carry luggage down stairs in mid summer heat. Shame as it is really beautiful

This was a last minute booking as we missed our flight. The hotel is on an enviable position, but it is also a tourist trap, exceedingly busy from early morning to night fall. The room we were allocated was on the ground floor, front facing the steps, an average room, but due to the late booking possibly not the full price. Plus point the hotel suites and other rooms are probably fantastic, just not this one, would we stay again, possibly not!! Reception is just a box not ideal for this standard of hotel. We always carry ear plugs incase of noise, we needed them. The air-conditioning worked 👌 The shower was also good. Breakfast was just ok, couldn't see how you could sit in the court yard for breakfast if the weather was wet or cold, as it is outside. Shame really, but we have stayed now, we won't return. Thank you to the staff they were very good.

Great location, great charm. comfortable and updated facilities. we had a fantastic time. I loved the linen sheets and the local soaps, it’s the small things that make it count. If you had room service and a concierge it would easily be a five star hotel.

The management entered our room after a do not clean sign was hung to leave a note that we were making too much noise at night. If the jets in the whirlpool tub are too loud you should work on soundproofing those rooms. It didn’t detract from the stay though, although I did not appreciate the passive aggressive note in the moment. We rocked the bed all night anyway.

Stayed for two nights in this hotel, can not fault it at all! Location is amazing, right next to the cathedral. I was worried this might make it a noisy location but it wasn’t! We stayed in room 20, which was a standard room but it was huge! The bed and pillows were super comfy. There was an area with a wardrobe and then the bathroom was large with an amazing shower. The hotel and the room were absolutely beautiful, really well designed and very clean. We didn’t have breakfast but the courtyard area looked lovely, we just had a coffee each morning which we took to our room. All the staff we spoke to were so friendly and happy to help with anything. Will definitely stay here again in the future!
