Rincón Sol

We got mixed up with the dates and arrived a day late but the reception staff were brilliant and added on the extra day we asked for. Loved the parking scheme outside the hotel as finding parking in a new area is difficult and costly. Lovely terrace with spectacular views

The selection of hot food was rather small compared to the alternative and was unfortunately rather cold so not really enjoyable and an extra toaster would reduce the waiting time for toast which most people enjoy at breakfast

We hadn't stayed in this hotel before, we usually stay in one about a mile further up the road. This one is better, though. The sea view is excellent, of course, but the hotel is located near some great little local bars (on the town side of the hotel) and near the shops. There is also a great-value beach restaurant, and the hotel has its own beach bar so you can get a cold one while you're on the sunloungers.

The hotel is slightly further on from the chiringuitos out towards the edge of town, so it's either a long walk, or a short drive, or go to the couple of more expensive ones nearby.

Location had free parking infront of their hotel. We parked outside and didn’t have any problem. There is also parking garage for hotel but need to pay 18 euros. Rooms - bed was comfortable. Had balcony. Set up inside room were old school. Hotel looks modern from outside and also the reception but rooms are still old school. Bathroom was big and was having amenities.

No coffee saches or kettle in room Door are not thick enough - you could hear people talking on hallway.

Location is perfect because there is autobus stop in front of the hotel and so many restaurant and shops around. Breakfast so generous and also for my lactosio intolerance, is possible to have cappuccino without lactosio. The staff is present and very kind at all hours even if you need hot water in the evening to take to your room for herbal tea. Our room had a sea view and it was wonderful to wake up in the morning almost in the sea as it is close ... beautiful! Really exceptional cleaning and also the size of the room was really comfortable.

A kettle for tea or herbal tea in the room would be handy.

Everything was great as we got there, found parking right in front of hotel, our room was ready. Had air conditioning, 2 beds, lay-out was great, washroom with glasses and all the toiletry. You open up the patio doors and the view was amazing, waves and beach with the sound of water. We were high enough up (2nd floor) to see everything going on on the beach. We decided to have supper in their restaurant, the food was great. We sat in the beach encloser to avoid the wind, we had ordered the menu of the day and you can have a 2 course meal, or a 3 course meal. the prices were 4 euro difference. The room was nice and quiet at night, we left the doors open to hear the waves. In the morning we went for our breakfast, all I can say is WOW!!!!. What a selection. There were 4 serving stations where they had different foods. Breads, toast, buns whole wheat and white. Next is bacon and eggs (fried or scrambled), ham, little weiners and more. Next station had all kinds of cold cuts, cheeses, spreads, condiments, tomatoes, lettuce and much more. Next station was dairy, yogourts, cereals, fruit of all kinds whole and cut, and the coffee station it is a machine but you can have any kind of coffee you like. It was overwelming.....lol.

All staff have been very helpfu and friendly especially at reception and in the restaurant. Everything has been super clean. Big selection of breakfast including hot meal and also lots of lovely fresh fruit! Stunning view from the room and balcony.

There is no (or hardly any) noise insulation between room 311 and 312 due to the door which joins the 2 rooms and meant for families who are staying next to each other. However, we had a stranger next door and we could hear her talking on the phone, eating etc And also, there is a restaurant nearby on the beach where they fry fish on open fire all day long, so there is a constant smokey smell on the balcony.

The Rinconsol is one of my favourite hotels - it really can't be beaten for location: you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel, outside, looking straight on to the sea and the clean beach (though I'd recommend having at least one or two meals at El Castillo and Restaurante Lo De Sergio, two fabulous restaurants really close by). The staff are really lovely, they have always been very helpful to me on the many many occasions when I've needed them.

Nothing i didn't like.

The hotel caters to ambient disabled people, which a lot of hotels get wrong. Walk in shower, spacious room, and ramps for easy access to every part of the hotel. I'm really impressed. Breakfast had a lot of choice, clean hotel throughout, room was comfortable with a good size balcony and the location being right on the beach is perfect. Staff could not have been more helpful, friendly, or professional. Good value for money.

Nothing, but parking your car might be a challenge if the resort and hotel is busy in the height of summer.

We loved this hotel, and seriously would be happy to live there! I can't say enough good about it, this is just the kind of place we love - helpful, clean, efficient and right on the beach. All the conveniences but an electric kettle for the room, and I know that hotels that want to sell you breakfast just don't give you a kettle. We did have a small fridge, and they even give beach towels for no charge (if you use the same one for 3 days or more). The hotel reserves a few rows of sun loungers for hotel guests, though this is for a small daily charge. The ladies in reception helped us with everything from renting a car for our trip to Caminito del Rey to knowing where to shop for local wines, where to eat decent Asian food, and taking care of housekeeping issues like a blocked shower drain. We had the absolute dream stay in Rincon Sol!

Really, given an electric kettle I would be living there right now! Everything was better than I could have imagined.

Sea view . Staff were amazing . They were so kind and helpful . So so friendly . A lovely hotel . I loved every moment there in my beautiful room with great sunsets and sunrises . Very clean . Breakfast simple and basic but enough . Thanks to all the staff for being so kind . I
