Very small room with window looking onto internal courtyard. Located on second floor (accessed via stairs or lift). Efficient heating and excellent wi-fi connectivity. Adequate storage and hanging space. Small shelf and stool, beside cabinet and rack for suitcase. Comfortable bed. TV on wall (I didn’t switch it on, so I’m not sure what channels are available). Everything in en suite bathroom in good working order, with powerful shower. Hot water available at all times. I am surprised this is only a one star hotel (I'd have thought that two was closer to the mark). Pleasant staff on the reception desk. Excellent value for money – only £23 per night, though not inclusive of breakfast, which is not served at the hotel. Some very nice cafes and restaurants nearby. Great location, just two minutes' walk from the main 'bus station and close to the Alameda del Tajo Park, from where you can enjoy superb views of the gorge and mountains.

The only thing I didn't like was the lighting, which was far too harsh. A lower watt bulb would have been preferable, as well as a small bedside lamp for reading.

Perfectly located and a very affordable place to stay. My room and all communal areas were immaculately clean. I stayed in a single room which was on a small side but it was perfectly adequate. The only criticism is the window opened in an awkward way towards the bed and I banged my head in it a couple of times. Flexible check in and the staff was very nice and friendly.

Places like this (nice and affordable) always attract a mix of people and of course there is always a couple who has no regard for other guests and smashing doors, talking loudly when arriving late at night. The hotel should put on some notes to alert guests.

Room was a good size for one person and it was very clean. Even though the bed was a little springy, I slept for 10.5 hrs here before I woke up. Was very comfortable, and I think it helped that it was easy to control the temperature in the room (unlike some other hotels I've stayed at). Given that the price was so affordable, the fact that it had a private ensuite bathroom was great too!

Some staff members speak better English than others. This was good for me because I wanted to practise my Spanish. But it was a bit tricky talking about the luggage storage because it wasn't the most straight forward system. Reception closes for a couple hours after lunch each day for siesta. So make sure you ask about that in advance if you need to leave luggage. Although, I ended up having to collect my bag during the closed hours after lunch and it wasn't too bad. I just had to stand outside and call someone through Whatsapp and she remotely unlocked the door for me to collect my bag. This would be tricky if you didn't have a working phone or internet to call though.

Staff, location, great value for money - a really sweet hotel. I arrived early in the morning at around 8.30am and the receptionist was so nice and gave me my room immediately as it was available (without even mentioning that I was checking in too early) - so nice. Then he recommended me a great little cafe nearby which was open for coffee and churros. Finally, when I left he gifted me a book on poetry that I had mentioned I liked in the lounge area even though I couldn't leave one in exchange. I will definitely be back (with a good book to leave in return) when I come back to Ronda. A great little find for my whirlwind stop in Ronda.

Wonderful stay, great value for money. Hotel is right in the heart of Ronda with many shops and supermarkets close by. WiFi was excellent. We arrived by bus and the hotel was less than 5 minutes walk from the station. Very impressed with the help from staff. The lady on reception spoke fluent English, was very helpful with recommendations and helping us navigate Ronda. We were able to leave our bags before and after check in. Beds were very comfortable too

Everything was great

I had a room for one person and it was good. No fridge or anything but a good bed, place for the suitcase and a bathroom good for one person The staff was great. Spoke with three different people and all of them were so kind. Communication with them was great. I had some questions and everything could by whatsapp, which I loved

My bathroom could have been cleaner (it was not dirty and you could see that they just cleaned it)

great location. Digital entry to front door and room. excellent communication with manager (José Carlos) to make sure I could self-serve to let myself in as due to my train being one hour late, desk staff had already left for the day. I had never stayed in a place that used web links to provide keyless, cardless access but the system worked perfectly! there are no hair dryers in the room but one is available for the asking at the desk. there are quite a few floors in the hotel but luckily, there is also an elevator. Jose Carlos was also very helpful when I saw him the day after arriving late giving me tips about restaurants and things to do and see in Ronda.

you have to be sure you are comfortable with no keys and have to be careful not to let your phone battery die when you are out. if so, you won’t be able to get in until you have a charge again. there are a lot of hard surfaces and stairs and sound carries. the person(s) in the room directly above me (I think) came back to the hotel very late one night and just the sound of hard soled shoes on the floor and in the hallways was enough to wake me up. Another night, but earlier, I could hear the sound of people talking (in normal voices, I think; they can’t be blamed for that). if you are a light sleeper, this might not be the best place for you.

A well run establishment in a convenient location. Helpful staff and owner . It's a manageable distance from the bus station with luggage and not far from the centre. Down Laurie St you'll find a couple of good tapas bars and breakfast cafes or along any road including the main road there are plenty of options. The noise does carry between rooms and up the patio well but if the guests are considerate, it is not bad

The location is excellent, not right in middle of tourist area so it isn't noisy, yet within easy reach of the main tourist attractions. It is also very close to the main bus station. For the price, it is very good. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel is that they use a mobile phone based "keys" for unlocking the main entrance and the room door. This is fine if you have a phone with excellent battery life but as someone who uses the phone heavily while travelling, looking up routes and geo tagging for my mirrorless cameras, it is quite unnerving that if you run out of battery, you could potentially get locked out of your room in middle of the night (I am a photographer so go out at night as well as very early in the morning).

The room isn't very remarkable, but it's in a good location, and it's very clean. Not very big, but enough for one person. Needed to get used to the entrance system, based on clicking an Internet link, but it actually works pretty well.

Sounds travel very far in the stone and concrete corridors, so noise from other guests arriving and leaving is a bit of a problem, but the hotel is in a quiet street, so no noise from the streets. Would have preferred a outside window instead of one into the hallway.
