El Hotelito 270

Before I was able to get to the reception for my check-in, I realized that it would be impossible to find a parking space in close proximity to the hotel entrance on Calle Adolfo Cabrera Pinto, so that I drove up and down "Avenida El Puente" which is the main street, running perpendicular to the aforementioned street on which the hotel is located. And I finally found a vacant slot approximtely 300 m from the entrance of this charming boutique hotel which has been completely refurbished, featuring all essential amenities which the modern traveler is demanding. The rooms are sufficiently large with comfortable beds, and plenty of electrical outlets to recharge mobile phones and operate the laptop through a pass-word-protected WLAN-router access. I also enjoyed the views from the Spanish-style small balcony, overlooking the old-town-type neighborhood. Breakfast a la carte---with three different breakfast "packages"---is served in the lobby as of 7 AM I would definitely book that hotel again when visiting La Palma in the future, and can therefore whole-heartedly recommend it to other travelers

Because of the hotel's location on a narrow street, with narrow walking strips marked on both sides, it is inherently impossible to find a parking space in close proximity of the hotel entrance. But, the hotel in not in a position to change that, so that the mentioning of the parking problem is by no means a critical remark directed at the "hotelito..."

Right in the centre of town, close to the harbour and the busstation (that is located next to the post office and the tourism office) from where you can cross the island easily passing the recently erupted volcano. Different choises for breakfast. You can get more coffee, just ask...

Some people complain about the elevation. These islands are volcanic, and level ground is hard to find. If thats what you like I can recommend Flanders and the Netherlands. But its realy not high up the hill, in fact its more of a climb to go up to the attic of my parental home. And not hard to find either.

The service was really nice. The ones in reception where there for any need, you could call them at any time and they where willing to help. The people preparing the breakfast where amazing, always on time and taking into account dietary preferences and restrictions.

Super friendly staff! They welcomed us with a warm smile and even provided me with tee bags and a kettle to cure my cold. The place was very clean and the breakfast delicious.

The TV in the entrance hall showed a medical surgery show while we had breakfast, which was a little distracting. But that might have been a coincidence and we probably just could have asked them to switch it off.

Very nice hotel in a narrow and quiet street close to the city center. The hotel is neat and super clean, the rooms are well equipped and nicely decorated in a modern and design way. The breakfast has to be booked and is served. The "healthy" breakfast with local advocados and greek yoghurt with local fruits was absolutely delicious.

Clean, bright room with a nice balcony. Perfect location! The staff/cleaner that was the only person there was exceptionally helpful.

Check in was a challenge as the front door was locked, no one answered our ringing and knocking so we had to call the front desk. I didn’t have access to calling on my phone plan so I had to wait for my husband who had gone to find parking spot.

The personal/owner is very very kind and friendly. I‘ve checked in at 8pm on the 29th May 2021. She (the owner) showed me the room and gave me the key. As a welcome gift, I‘ve received a bottle of water and some sweets - which was very nice because I‘ve travelled for approximately 10 hours (I came from Germany). The room was very clean and the towels were decorated. Then I had some trouble and problems with my phone, so the owner borrowed me her phone to do some calls - this saved my trip! I couldn‘t access my phone with important documents at first, but because I had the possibility to use her phone, I could fix the problems! Thank you very much!! Also the breakfast was very delicious! You can pick one of three available breakfasts - I chose the healthy one. I got to eat two warm slices of crispy bread, topped with tomatoes, avocado and cheese. Optionally, you could also put on some oil and salt. I‘ve also eaten natural yoghurt with muesli and chocolate. There was also a small bread straight out of the oven topped with ham and cheese. Drinks were also diverse. I received an orange juice, water and café con leche. The owner also agreed to dispose my plastic bottles because I couldn‘t find a place to dispose them - very kind, thank you again! All in all, a great experience and if I come back to La Palma in the future, I‘ll definitely choose El Hotelito 27 again.

No mangle at all.

In a very nice area with old charm, nice buildings with balconies and cobbled lanes. Very friendly staff. Clean room and nice bed with nice decoration. Breakfast menu seemed good but I left too early, so could taste the breakfast Price was very affordable and I got an upgrade to a balcony room too

Tea-making facility in the room would be very nice. A bit uphill, Google maps took me through stairs and inclines. Some directions provided by the hotel to follow the easier main route would be good. There is a ceiling fan with light. The light glows but no idea how the fan works. Instruction card in the room would be good. Due to volcano ash, balcony was a bit dusty, a towel or mat on the floor to wipe feet would be nice. Or a pair of lounge shoes. No light in the wardrobe area. Unthoughtful design.

The room was quite basic - the bathroom was well-equipped - and everything was spotlessly clean - so EXCELLENT value for money - considering the quite low price I had to pay. And the breakfast was FRESHLY prepared with a wonderful taste.

Nothing - taking price into account

The location to the town was good, although not good for anyone with walking difficulties as it’s uphill. Reception are was good, staff are very friendly and so helpful. The rooms are clean, very basic, but have everything you need for a short stay. breakfast was very good and plentiful.

You could hear every noise at night, I.e. other guests closing doors or walking in corridor, as these areas are wooden flooring. we found it quite noisy and had a disturbed night
