Colombo Court Hotel & Spa

Very friendly and attentive staff, quck check-in/out, good restaurant and good alternatives nearby, water bottles in room generously replenished daily, small but nice pool, cozy atmosphere, attractive design.

Operating light switches in room confusing, cockroach in bathroom (which was quickly removed though), hotel is on a busy street so some rooms may be noisy during daytime.

Superb staff (from front desk, to housekeeping to the restaurant/lounge)- felt very welcomed. The location is also great with many good restaurants and shops around. Beds were very comfortable which is great for longer stays

Rooms facing the road are a little loud, but the insulation in the room is good.

I would like to thanks individuals Team members to make our stay and event Awesome and great. - Before arriving I had email conversation with Marketing team, Ms. Tina (Senior Marketing Executive ) assisted to booking of the events area according to my wish list and she’s always available on email and WhatsApp, Q&A reply was perfect & special thanks to her it made everything perfect & it was great. - checkin to departure FOM-Mr. Irshad - perfect person for the FO Team, always available for all requested need related to guest request, to the event & great and best assist we have daily. - Front office Host - Mr. Dinit, great guy had great conversation, always happy & smiling and hope in future we can meet again , hope him a great future ahead. - F&B Manager - Mr. Nalin & F&B team (Amare ber pool area) please thank them, service was outstanding & very friendly. Food is served daily and the event is tasty and yummy. - Housekeeping - Mr. Janaka & Mr.Priyan always available if anything related to our room. - Room attendant - Mr. Kasun always keeps our clean & nice. Thank you all on behalf of my wife & family and everyone from Colombo Court Hotel and Spa make our stay perfect and I am sure will visit again in the future.

Loved the whole feel of the place, it is like an oasis in the middle of the city, serene, spa like, with big super comfortable rooms, super comfy beds, marvellous bathroom. We enjoyed the food immensly, hat off to the chefs! Most of all, we appreciated the attentivness of the staff. Everyone was excellent. Mohamed who organized all our tours and helped us with useful tips. And our favourite, most kind and professional Sachit Lakshan, whom we adored and would recommend to every hotel :) we do not remember other names but have to give compliments to each and everyone who made our stay there so exquisit Thank you all. We will come back

Everything was the best!

A great location. Within walking distance of the famed Barefoot cotton and linen shop, and the beach The hotel is amazing, and our room was among the most well-appointed rooms experienced during any of our travels, and we have traveled a lot around the globe. The place is elegant, and the staff perform with much grace, attention to detail, and offered warm hospitality. It is hard to properly convey just how beautiful our experience was, and it would truly have been a terrible mistake to have chosen a different location to stay. The area is quiet, and it has that feel of returning to serenity. The staff even surprised us with a wedding anniversary cake for my wife and I. Spa facilities are wonderful! We were entirely pleased with our experience.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. There is a pool, fish ponds, and a nice leafy courtyard where the restaurant is located. Staff were friendly and helpful. There are lots of shops and other restaurants nearby.

There is no life, which makes getting to the top floors a chore when one is loaded down. There was also a problem with my keycard every second day - which was an unpleasant surprise (though not much of a surprise as it happened every other day) after trudging up all those stairs.

What didnt we like?! Gorgeous private pool area surrounded by lush canopies. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Lovely roof terrace bar and restaurant with festoon lighting and lanterns that made for a wonderful atmosphere. A hidden gem, that was quiet and peaceful. Book this hotel, you will not be disappointed. We extended our stay and would definitely stay here again if we returned to colombo.

The location was very central, the wooden interiors, the design of the room, the great value for money breakfast (I had the Sri Lankan option), the accommodating staff, the hotel and grounds are beautifully decorated and landscaped, it's a bit of a hidden oasis in a very central location.

The walls are pretty thin and I was on the level below the rooftop bar so heard a lot of that music well into the night. They also had two events booked with blasting music until 11pm for two consecutive nights -- each time, we were only informed during the day. No remediation was offered. NB There's no lift, which might be a problem for some.

Very well designed, stylish & calming when you come in from the hustle & bustle of Colombo. The staff were very welcoming, helpful & friendly throughout our stay. Our standard double too was very comfortable, clean, spacious & had everything we needed (mini fridge, kettle, AC, towels, hair dryer etc). The pool was excellent, it’s mostly shaded. Location was also great with supermarkets, eateries & the site seeing places close by.

The food, drink & spa were very expensive compared to other places in Colombo of similar standard, which was a shame as the eating area & spa looked really nice

Everything was perfect! While i was traveling all over the island, i stayed 3 times in this hotel! And each time it was a pleasure. People are very helpful in any question (even to order laundry during night time). Rooms are clean, good hot shower, tasty food in restaurants (they even cooked pancakes for me when i didn't find it in a menu), good massage. Location is comfortable too. And one more important thing is that it was possible to leave my bags in the hotel for free for any amount of days.
