Hotell Onyxen

The hotel had amazing artwork spread throughout. The room was clean and the products amazing. I forgot my tooth brush and got one from the reception. It was a bamboo one and really good. Coming to the room, felt like coming home, which was nice. The location itself was close to the venue I needed to get to, so it was perfect.

Missing aircon. I had to take part in meetings throughout the day on my second day and had to keep my window open. This was a bit annoying, as the window was facing the main road and, therefore, 2 bars.

It was fairly small and that meant the staff were friendly-they were lovely! It had a cool feel. I liked the individual touches at breakfast such as ‘homemade’ granola, and cracker bread and delicious bread. Our room was at the back overlooking a courtyard and this meant it was quiet.

The room needed somewhere more to hang clothes and some drawers. I would have liked somewhere more convenient to hang my bath towel whilst in the shower. It was on the back of the door but a nearer place would help.

There is no need for any improvements.

Our fifth floor room was gorgeous and the most spacious we've ever experienced in Europe. The staff was exceptional, particularly Ola who helped us try to get connected to Netflix in our room and then ended up giving us loads of fantastic local recommendations for our stay. He was super helpful and lovely:) The free breakfast was also amazing!

Perhaps the hotel should give customers a heads up that the elevator is tiny and can barely fit two small people? This was surprising and made it difficult to transport luggage to the fifth floor. Also the smart TV didn't work. Other than that everything was superb.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean and nicely decorated, the bed was luxurious with high ceiling and big windows. Everything was fresh and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was excellent! Lots of fresh vegetables, fruits, fresh bread and something for everyone. Compared to many other hotels, the scrambled eggs were fresh and moist. I was positively surprised and I wish I had stayed longer. I highly recommend the hotel if you want to spoil yourself.

Loved the decor , breakfast was tasty ..the lotions and bathroom products were very nice .room was really clean .beds are very comfortable .ideal location to get around .

A little dislike i found it a bit noisy for me ,not from outside noise that was very quite but inside noise. People closing doors were noisy

The hotel is small and friendly. Staff are very helpful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel left us two small bottles of cava to enjoy on our arrival which was a lovely touch. The breakfast was very good. The location is close to Liseberg and Scandinavium as well as being close to trams that take you to the centre. Very impressive for the price we paid and would stay again.

It would have been nice to have a vending machine for cold drinks or a mini fridge but there is a 7 Eleven nearby. You can get ice from reception so that's good.

Good spacefull room. Beds very good. Nice view. Great breakfast bar every morning. Great location in the middle of the city. Museums and restaurants within walking distance. Nice and helpfull staff. Great shower!

The rooms were painted in quite dark colours, which became a bit claustrofobic after 5 days. The ventilation was strange, in the middle of the night we were woken by the smell of bacon. It seemed that the staff was already making preparations for breakfast. They said they would close the ventilation "thing" in our room

This place has a very nice atmosphere and fancy decoration, the staff is very friendly and eager to help you in whatever you need.

The lift is small, not very convenient for guests bringing lots of luggage/baby cars. I was traveling alone carrying a small suitcase, in my case the stairs worked perfectly

Cleanliness was good, location is great, breakfast is good, staff is nice.

Rooms are not sound proof, Every step of someone walking outside in the corridor/hallway can be heard inside the room. Similarly every step of people staying in room directly above the one you are staying can also be heard which is not good.
