Hotel is just across street from the train station and many buses, so very convenient if someone wants to explore the area by public transport. Also old town and lake are just few minutes walk away. The room is simple but has all what is needed. Breakfast is basic but ok. The staff is friendly and easy to communicate.

Unfortunately the balcony is facing quite busy road, so it is a bit noisy.

Flashing green light where the room card would normally be, but they don't use cards. But you can cover it without much effort. A slight smell of smoke in some areas. But may not be the hotel fault

Garni Montaldi exceeded my expectations! The room was spacious and clean. The facilities modern and also included a refrigerator. The Hotel is situated on the opposite side of the train station and 5 mins (on foot) to the city center. All in all, I would recommend this place for 1-2 nights.

Great placement, in the heart of the city, you are just some steps away from everything. The lake is one minute away also. Very helpful stuff they received, stored and gave away our bicycles in our absence, before we even pay our stay.

Nothing to say

The room was great, clean and very comfy. Hotel's location is very central and there is a car parking just in front which comes in handy if you are traveling by car. The train station is also right in front of the Hotel. Breakfast was simple but very good.

The Hotel is located right next to Locarno train station. The accommodation was big enough and very clean. Bathroom looked newly renovated. Pets are allowed without extra charges which is really nice and doesn't happen often. Overall, i was very happy with my stay.

Excellent location. Nice breakfast. Good view from the balcony.

Understanding of English was limited. Air conditioner was making strange noise in the beginning and also at exactly 5 am in the morning.

Great location across from train station and within short walking distance to lake and shopping area. Very comfortable bed sheets and nice view over the street. The staff were so friendly and helpful and let me store luggage after checkout.

I didn’t use the shower as it was a short stay but maybe this could do with an update. Overall good value for money though.

Checkin was fast, Staff is very kind. Location is very good and and the rooms are clean. Didn't eat breakfast but it looked pretty decent. Will visit again.

It was a little noisy due to poor noise protection of windows, walls and doors.
