It’s right next to the lake ferries boarding point, making it very convenient for daily excursions. The parking is ample. The breakfast alternative of coffee and croissants for as little as 5 CHF makes it perfect for those who needs just a morning fix to be on the go. The staff is very prompt, helpful and courteous at all hours of day & night.

The room had only one plug. Perhaps considering a more ample docking as people now travel with multiple devices would make it easier for those sharing a room.

The location was good because it was close to our business meeting we had at ABB. Breakfast was okay, I did have better at other Hotel locations for the price and as for the room it was okay. Originally I booked a room with either a double bed or a king size bed - I sent out 2 emails before I received a response from the management letting me know they will see what they can do but could not confirm that this would be available but when I booked king size bed was available. So I was not pleased with the response I got.

front staff could been a little more helpfull when needed.

Clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly. We forgot something in our room and the staff called us to let us know. Unfortunately we couldn't go back because we were in our way back home already, but they offered us to keep it until we will be back. Soon. Thanks for that.

The only thing I could suggest is to replace the "air-blower" in the bathroom for a proper hairdryer. I didn't bring mine because every 3* hotel and upper always have at least a simple one. This blower is useless.

Just beautiful! Perfect location, indoor parking (for extra money, but it is important for auto travellers 👌), Piazza Grande just around the corner etc. Very clean room, great bathroom, conditioning is perfect, super bed and quiet at night. Breakfast is good and plentiful. Definitely recommend! P. S. Special thanks to reception girl Marica - she is very friendly and competent 😊.

The location was great, it was close to the ferry terminal, the train station, piazza grande, the funicular, lake etc. The breakfast was good, rooms were clean and decent sized, staff was very helpful. It was great value for money.

My AC kept making loud noises when it was running which disturbed my sleep but this issue was only in my room not the other 2 rooms my family had booked. I feel like sound insulation could have been better, anytime somebody in the corridor closed their door loudly or knocked, I could hear that.

What I liked the most was the location, very close to the lake, the port, the funicular to the cathedral and walking distance to the old town. The hotel is very modern, well maintained and super clean. I was lucky to find a parking spot right in front of the reception, although is quite a bit expensive (19CHF per night). The highlight for me was the breakfast: so varied and tasty, different type of eggs, bacon, cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, cereals, fruits and pastries, even different kinds of coffee and hot beverages. They are also very understanding with allowing bringing food from other restaurants to eat in the hotel, as due to Covid restrictions you cannot eat at the restaurants. The stuff super friendly, and also nice they provide a Ticino transport pass to use public transport for free.

The room didn’t have fridge or coffee. It was also a bit cold.

Good location. Good value for money. Modern room. Very good list of TV channels. Fast wifi.

Unflexible parking arrangements.

Quite well located - 2 blocks from the waterfront. The interior itself is exactly what can be expected in any other ibis hotel, which means clean, comfortable rooms, a dependably structured stay with all the necessary amenities. And they provide luggage storage.

Restaurant space was small, so even with few guests it was crowded quickly, with no covid-19 social distancing to speak of. Also the idea of pushing all check-ins to 3 PM sharp resulted in quite a bit of a queue - not the best idea in times when it's best to avoid bigger gatherings of people.

Rooms were very nice, bathroom very spacious, very clean, they payed attention on Covid measures. Location of hotel was perfect. Breakfast was good, many choice given. Parking was under the hotel, very secure, but you need to count 10 chf a day. Staff was correct, they spoke 5 languages, so very good.

Bed and pillows not so comfortable. Organisation about parking not so easy. First you have to arrive in front of hotel, then you need to take some card, after that you need to go under hotel in garage, and then after all that mess you can check in. On small request (early check in) we wanted to check 2 hours before hotel rule, they asked me 30 chf charge. I don't know is it just me but I find that strange?! and when it came to check in, it was the longest check in of my life. After check in (we did as all guests, did not want to pay extra for early check in) they said "Now you need to wait 30 minutes for your room" :-I

LOCATION IS EXCELLENT breakfast is nice even though not that rich the room was cozy and on the main street yet very quiet and clean.

nothing, maybe the price is a bit expensive but good to go!
