City Suites - Beimen

Good location, in close proximity to Beimen station and a convenience store just located beside the hotel. Facilities were modern and comfortable with a strong internet connection. Hotel staff were mostly friendly and polite with the exception of the staff on duty during our arrival.

Upon early arrival to provide our details and drop our bags off, we were surprised at how aloof the staff on duty was. When we came back at the check in time, the staff was with other guests so we waited at the side. He waved us away and told us to do our own check in through the available computers which required either our name, email or booking number. We encountered error messages upon every try. Another staff walking by saw our frustrations and came over to help. He encountered the same error messages as well and had to amend the details in their system. If the self check in was supposed to help to ease the process, we certainly did not feel that way since it took thrice as long to check in.

I have stayed at multiple City Suites locations around Taiwan, and they are very consistent with high-quality facilities and service for the money.

Nothing, really, for the price point and expectations. If you are looking for some kind of full-on never-leave-the-hotel experience, then look elsewhere. If you appreciate solid, well-executed hospitality in a clean space that looks nice and is comfortable for when you return from your forays outside the hotel, then City Suites is a great choice.

The location is good. The staff was helpful. The room is small but quite well designed. The room and facilities were generally clean. The hotel has a coffee/chocolate machine near the front desk where guests can make their own free hot drinks.

The room is so small we could not fully open our suitcase. Sound proofing was also not very good as we could here the door closing and water running sound from other rooms.

My second stay at this place. The best of it all is the hospitality of the staff. Viola is very kind and helpful throughout our 6-day trip. She is very professional with exceptional service mind . Just to note one here, she kindly write a little note for a taxi driver to help us communicate which is very impressive. Although the room is a bit small but compare to the price it is very reasonable. Very convenient to commute as it is just next to Taipei Main station directly from airport.

The staff was exceptional in helping me when I had to book my room for a long extended stay. The cleaning staff was also super great to keep everything clean and tidy. Really enjoyed my stay here!

These were purely personal needs/preferences: the wifi was a bit slow for my work video calls, however, I was able to easily use my phone hotspot for the calls. And the bed was a little too soft for my back, in dealing with a bit of a back injury.

Location was perfect as it was accessible from Beimen Station and Taipei Main Station (where you can ride a train to the airport). There's a 7-Eleven downstairs, and a mile-long underground mall a block away. The room was comfortable and always kept clean, plus they always provided complimentary water and tea. Staff were also very helpful and friendly :)

Very nice and helpful staff! :) The room was very clean. Location is just some 5 min walk from the Metro, and we enjoyed the opportunity to have some evening snacks at Ningxia Night Market which is also quite close to walk.

the staff was extremely helpful, very patient with answering any questions, they went above and beyond to make the stay palatable. we had some questions about payment and it was handled very efficiently and quickly through email. would definitely love to stay here again!

close proximity to the Tamsui river for walks or cycling, close to the Beimen subway where one could take the Taoyuan Airport subway train easily. clean and tidy.

Friendly and helpful staff

Part of level 6 consists of stairs which is slightly inconvenient, however the staff is able to assist to change rooms that does not have stairs whenever possible.
