Beautiful art and decor Salvador barman was a treasure

No toilet paper, soap for 4 days Exposed wires covered/hidden by rug Food Poisoning on last day (seafood soup)

The hotel is very beautiful and the price is suitable. We rented an apartment consisting of 3 rooms and a hall. The rooms were very spacious and spacious, the furniture was new, the hotel was clean and overlooked the sea, and the staff were very helpful, especially the employee, Hassan, an Egyptian, who always welcomed and helped us.

I had a problem with the receptionist called Michael, as he is the only person who disturbed my mood and offended me in Zanzibar and changed my impression of its people and also diminished my impression of the hotel, as I called him to cancel the request for an extra bed from the room and he refused at first and then with my insistence he hung up the call in my face And he repeated it three times in the sense that he confirms his abuse of me, and this harms the reputation of the hotel and the city of Zanzibar.

It’s picturesque and grand. Super clean and has lots of places to chill with view of the beach. The stuff is super friendly and helpful. There are so many details about the place that shocked me in a beautiful way.

The bathroom was not well ventilated and the shower was too small, the shower curtain kept touching me which was gross.

unique design with spacious rooms, we had a comfortable stay, Mr Sayid Ali who is available most of the time at the resort can solve all your problems and he is a very cordial person who can make your stay pleasant. They also have buffets on Sat night with good ambience and great place to throw a birthday bash!.

Room service - the breakfast was not well placed. They don’t listen careful sometimes forgetting cutleries. Bread and watery food combined in one plate.

The hotel very beatifull and its close to the airport staff are very friendly and the food are good room very clean i love every thing in this hotel i will come back again

The breakfast was great. Staff fantastic especially the head, Odera was wonderful. Only issue I had was the coffee was instant coffee!!!! Investing in brewed coffee for the visitors just adds another touch of great service. Brewed coffee is charged extra ( just for information). But if you are happy with sachets of instant coffee which are so hard to tear open then that's free ;-)

The staff was AWESOME, breakfast was filling, the food in the restaurant was good. Bed was comfortable. Had an actual gym.

Maybe it was bad timing, there was some renovation going on, there were signs for other restaurants but when I asked was told that there is only 1 restaurant. Not a huge deal, but though a limited TV channel list I tried to watch CNN or BBC but there was no picture or sound on those channels.

I really enjoyed my stay at Madinat, the staff and management went over and beyond to make our stay memorable. One of the staff kept referring to me as "Bride of Madinat" as we had gone there for honeymoon. The breakfast had a good variety. Mr. Alok, one of the managers was especially very proactive in his communication and ensured everything we had requested for was taken care of.

I think the decorations for honeymoon suite could be done better . The pool for first time swimmers was scary as the deep end is 3/4 of the pool but I guess swimmers really enjoy the experience. Aside from that I did enjoy everything else
