Great room, friendly service

People wake up early and then reserve the sun loungers. This shouldn’t be allowed. I ended up going to other resorts because loungers all used / reserved

The personel was very helpfull and always kind especially Miss Anna from the reception desk! She helped us change rooms when we had trouble with very noisy neighbours. She also arranged breakfast boxes for us when we had an early flight in the morning. The location of this hotel is excellent! It's near the beach and shopping district of Chaweng. It's a very beautiful hotel and area. We enjoyed having breakfast with view at the sea.

Lots of mosquitos in the hotel and rooms. Also breakfast could use some more variation especially for vegetarians. We also saw a couple of shirtless guys wandering around the breakfast area which was unhygienic and gross. However nobody of the staff said anything about it. Hotel should be stricter about this.

The location was great, the beach was clean in comparison to others nearby. Definitely worth the money in that aspect.

The bed was very hard and the pillows were also like rocks and so thick. It was not comfortable. Also there is only one plug in the room. Which is very inconvenient. Also be aware of the mosquitos. I was bitten many times in the room. The breakfast was repetitive. I am a big fan of pancakes and they weren’t fresh, maybe store bought. One staff member in particular stood out to me which was Keng, he was very polite and helpful always. However, Bao who worked in the restaurant also was very rude and obnoxious. There were many occasions in which he ignored us and pretended not to hear us asking for help.

Excellent beach, close to all the shops, Thai owned and operated so lovely friendly helpful staff, very good buffet breakfast. Big room size. Big bathroom with good natural light during the day. Shower pressure ok and warm water that didn't run out during shower.

Under flight path (during the day... I think first flight no earlier than 8am and last flight about 9pm). Very hard beds (mattress topper provided after request). No USB/power point charger, near bed (it is near desk opposite wall~3-4m away). Room windows with block out curtains face thoroughfare, so dark room during the day if you want privacy, or have to turn lights on. Mosquitos just outside room, so one must have mosquito repellent spray. Sometimes mosquitos in room after room service because room doors are left open during housekeeping duties. Wardrobe in bathroom rather than in bedroom. No hooks in bathroom for towel hanging (I used towel rail).

My wife and I have stayed in 11 different hotels in 3 different countries in 21 days. Baan Chaweng Beach Resort & Spa was one of the Top 3 Hotels during our Asia Tour. The location of the hotel is really convenient. Chaweng Beach is really relaxing and the water is peaceful. We enjoyed the hotel and the breakfast was amazing. You can enjoy nice cocktails (Coconut Rum was my favourite- half-price during Happy Hour) on the beach directly at the hotel. The beach was always clean. We got even a free room upgrade from the hotel (honeymoon after Corona). The hotel staff is always kind and helpful. We arranged all the transfers through reception.

Two restaurants are located on two sides of the hotel. The ventilation of the restaurants is working almost all day until 22:00 o'clock. It is a humming noise, but still possible to sleep. Not a holiday killer.

great location (island is pretty dead because of covid but the hotel is perfectly located when things are open), staff is great, cabins are super nice and spacious and there’s a pool and restaurant overlooking the ocean. Breakfast was good too (just missing more milk options as they only have full cream)

There’s so much chlorine in the pool that if you open your eyes under water you’ll be blind for the rest of the day. Rooms don’t get a lot of natural light and the only windows face the little roads on the hotel so theres not a lot of privacy, if that’s what you’re looking for.

Room 203 deluxe villa was in a great location, we were a little worried on arrival as the room was directly opposite the dining area but it really was not an issue and we heard no noise at all. The room was as expected with fridge, safe, complimentary water and a good size bathroom with a powerful shower and plenty of hot water. The beach was a dozen steps away, plenty of sun loungers available, fresh towels and staff on hand to bring drinks and food. There are a few Beach sellers but they were not pushy at all. The small pool was lovely, clean and warm. We booked transport with the hotel to/from the airport at 300 baht each way, quick courteous service. There was no problem at all with mosquitos.

We really could not find fault with this hotel

The hotel is very nice, and that’s why we came back again. Nice place, well located, incredible beach, view and pool ! Of course, Lovely personnel and breakfast !

The only comment I have is regarding the consideration of the requests made by email / booking messages before arrival : Actually I’ve requested the hotel (a couple of weeks before my arrival) to book for me some activities (I’ve provided them with all the necessary details) and they have acknowledged ! I’ve reminded them again 1 week before my arrival in order to avoid any inconvenience such as full or no more place situation. But upon my arrival I realized that they hadn’t booked my activities … And even after my arrival, I had to remind them again twice to do it, otherwise they might have forgotten to do it …

Nice atmosphere. Staff was excellent, they even sang happy birthday for me when I was doing breakfast. Was really thoughtful and I appreciate it. Room was clean, water dispensed every day and the air conditioner was working.

Food offered for lunch can improve, not really good taste and too much European food available, I didn’t know if I was in Germany or in Thailand. Everyday was a pitched battle for the beach, the rule was to don’t reserve any lounges but most of the people staying where taking the best place since 6.00 o clock and “reserved” their leavening the towel and then coming back whenever they wanted. All the squishy puff available to stay on the beach were reserved the whole day by the same people. It was really disappointing. That’s unfair especially as we ALL have included in the price and free to use them. I will suggest for the future to assign the lounges to the room number so no one will remain without.

Baan Chaweng Beach Resort was a fantastic find in Koh Samui, it's a beachfront resort that is maintained so beautifully, The service was impeccable, and our room was spacious - very clean and comfortable. The resort property is so green - it's the best in nature's lap! They offer a nice breakfast spread with both continental and Asian fare. We also dined at their beachfront restaurant and the food was probably one of the best we had in Samui, the pool is also big and well maintained. They have sufficient sunbeds on the beach - the food and beverage service on the beach was also fantastic ( do try the chilled coconut they offer ), they have happy hours on cocktails which we enjoyed! - beach towels are clean and always available! It's also within walking distance of a lot of amazing diners, coffee shops, night clubs. They offer bike rental services too which is an addon. All in all, there is no other place id like to stay in Samui - Baan Chaweng Beach Resort it is for me!
