Evergreen Resort (SHA Plus)

Everything! What a perfect and wonderful hotel! We were shocked to discover how beautiful the entrance/walk to the beach side was from our hotel. They have their own restaurant and bar set up there so it is absolutely perfect for breakfast, coffee, drinks, or dining. The beach is right there at your view and is is truly a stunning crystal clear beautiful water beach. The hotel itself is lovely with perfect rooms, unusually large, and very comfortable. Loved everything about our place. Clean, organized, and with amazing shower. If I ever return to this island I'll make sure to book this hotel. It was a perfect experience so much that we wanted to book it again and cancel our other hotels around here, but they were fully booked. The breakfast buffet is very good, coffees are excellent, and what really makes this a gem is the way it is located in front of the beach for such an affordable price. Excellent value. Another thing, perfect amazing location to the heart and center of all the fun shopping, street markets, malls, etc. You can;t go wrong with this hotel! PS: Be kind and sweet to the staff please, even when they don't fully speak English taking your orders they try their best to please and help. I was so hungry I was annoyed when I had to repeat my order twice and then to another waiter after I thought it was already on the making, and I showed that... I quickly apologized for this as I had to take a step back and realize how hard they work and that they are doing their best with a second language, just as I had to do when I first moved to another country. They are so kind and professional and sweet and what is beautiful about it is that it is very genuine. It is in their culture, Thai culture, to be like this. It was not just because of their job, that is their nature with anyone. I loved them and truly recommend you visit. It is just amazing. To all the restaurant staff: THANK YOU! You are all the best.

Close to beach and night life, not to big a resort nice and cosy. Nice big rooms and balcony. Clean , staff were great , washing service great, nice pool . Good onward travel booking at reception.

Was supernice stay! Looks even better in real life than on photos! Clean room, staff was supernice, friendly. Breakfast was THE BEST during our whole stay in Thailand, we stayed in different places and this was literally the best breakfast experience. They have big ´śwedish´' buffet, where You can take everything without limit, for example croissants, local food (noodles, rice dish), toasts, bacon, sausages, egg (they make freshly, you can decide how you want, boiled or scrambled etc), fresh juices, muesli, GOOD COFFEE MACHINE, what you often don´t find in Thailand (Latte, Cappucino), fruits.. Location was JUST perfect, we got room almost beachfront. Also located superclose to shopping mall, cafes, shops, massage places. With little baby it was perfect stay.

Pool was little bit in shade (it made water colder), but it was still refreshing. One jacuzzi didn´t work. Often staff didn´t talk at all in english. But it wasn´t a big deal, since they were really friendly and helpful.

Close to the beach and local bars and restaurants. The surroundings of the resort are very tranquil and nice. The newly built bar and restaurant will make a fine addition to the property too. Cleaning staff were very good and I arrived early so front desk allowed me to put my bags somewhere safe and out of view whilst I visited the local area no problem until my room was ready.

Although now completed and didnt disturb my sleep or stay at all. It would have been nice to be told before hand there was going to be construction on site.

The hotel is really nice, near the city center (Chaweng), near the airport and near the beach. Although near of everything that can make a lot of noise, it was very calm. The room was clean and very well equipped and very cosy and large. The swimming pool very nice and clean. The beach accessible by foot with a beautiful view. Personal was very nice, friendly, courteous and professional (Both the reception staff and the cleaning and maintenance persons)

Only one "negative" point was that I've booked for 7 days and the personal told me that the chosen room was only available for 6 days. Therefore, I had to move for the last night which wasn't very confortable for me but wasn't that bad at all. (I had even a better room for the last night)

The hotel was practically located on the beach and very close to the town amenities, However, we were not at all disturbed by any noise from the town centre. The room was spacious, very well equipped, very clean and staff were extremely helpful.

Didn't have any issues whatsoever. Only comment would be that the breakfast was the same everyday and would benefit from a little variety, Also, sun loungers were roped together, thus unable to give any space between the person next to you.

Good location, it’s right on the main street, close to everything. But it’s still very quiet in the rooms, no noice from the street. Big room, TV, fridge, hair dryer, umbrellas, two towels each. The rooms are placed in beautiful tropical place full of trees. Therefore, a lot of mosquitoes. The hotel has a beach access. There is also a pool, but it’s small and mostly not sunny.

Just the mosquitos and small insects that are everywhere because of the beautiful nature surrounding the hotel. However, only mosquitos got inside in our room, luckily no bugs in the room!

Good size room. Good size comfortable bed. Bathroom had shower and bath, exceptional. Air conditioning great, safe for security, very close to beach, restaurant good, great ocean views from restaurant.

Advertised as ocean view, but to see the ocean was difficult, not a show stopper given all the other good attributes. Access near reception little bumpy for suitcase with wheels,

The location was perfect, not too close to the noisier bars. A short walk to Central Samui with its night market and Beach Eats restaurants. The walk through the canopy of native plants, shrubs, and trees to the beach is beautiful. The rooms in the main block are very spacious, including the balcany. The bathroom was excellent with a great shower area. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Supaporn on reception.

There was an accumulation of dust under the bed.

The hotel is really good located in Chaweng beach. Although it is in the center, there is no noise at all. It is only few minutes away from theshopping mall and at the main street. It has direct access to the beach! Rooms are big and cleaned everyday

It is not a big deal, but during high tide you cannot lay on the sunbeds of the hotel because the water is too high.
