Eden Bungalows Fisherman's village

All of the staff are so friendly, especially Eve who went out of her way to provide local knowledge and recommendations for us. Location is amazing, in the heart of the fisherman’s village, a few steps from the beach, surrounded by delicious eateries and close to the night market. Food in the restaurant very yummy and cheap! Would highly recommend a stay!!

The room was quite noisy at times, not very well sound proofed meaning we could hear chatter outside and the guests above us sometimes. I would recommended one of the deluxe bungalows to avoid this.

There wasn’t breakfast offered or included. Given how central it was located, that wasn’t an issue at all as there were quite a few restaurants within short walking distance who offered breakfast. However there was a great selection of food offered from 11am til 10pm at a very reasonable price. Very good value for money and great food.

Probably the only thing, which could have been better, was, more storage space in the bathroom to place the toiletries and more shelves for clothing in the bedroom.

The staff was very helpful from beginning to end of our stay they had everything we needed their location was steps from the beach and the resort is nestled in the Center of the strip in fisherman’s village Inside the resort area it’s like a little hidden oasis very quite from the market and streets surrounding They have a very friendly bar and the Thai food is very reasonably priced in their restaurant They can help book anything on the island from taxi to tours and gave great helpful advice The room was very accommodating and comfortable We stayed here for 15 days and we felt right at home you really didn’t have to go far to find something to do Thank you eden bungalows in Bophut for the amazing experience

This is an absolute gem of a hotel, like a jungle oasis in the middle of a busy tourist area. As you first enter the bar area you immediately feel at home. The receptionist was very informative and polite and showed us all the facilities. The pool area is sublime and you really feel relaxed with all the shrubbery around you just 30m from the busy walking street in Fisherman's Village, you won't believe how calm it is. They have an all day restaurant, a massage centre in the middle of the garden, a pool table and bar with a long happy hour every day. The owners were onsite all day every day to answer any queries and were very helpful. All in all this was a great stay in an excellent location and we would highly recommend it. If we ever went back I would definitely book this hotel again.

There are not many electric plugholes in the bedroom. The wooden plinth at the bottom of the bed is a bad trip hazard as my wife has poor eyesight. The lighting could be a bit brighter in the bedroom. Only very minor points which didn't take away from a great stay.

We arrived in the dark and had to drag our cases through the streets because the market was on. I won't lie, at first I thought "where on earth are we"! After a great nights sleep and getting up early to explore I realised I was in paradise. The place is quirky Thai style but it's clean, it's comfortable. The pool is spotless and the perfect temperature. The easy access to everything, breakfast on the beach across the road. The staff at Eden are the warmest, friendliest and most helpful people. We had the bungalow out the back and it was lovely and quiet. If returning to Koh Samui, I'd stay again without hesitation.

There was nothing I did not like everything was just perfect.

We had an incredible, relaxing stay at Eden Bungalows. We found the location perfect, on the doorstep of Fishermans Villages best bars, restaurants and cafes. The food at the hotel restaurant was great (open from 17:30 every evening), especially with every dish being 150 Baht - in a relatively premium location this price was very affordable. The pool was great, close to the front of the resort but still private from the passing public. We particularly enjoyed the idea of an open air shower, even if we did have to sacrifice our protecting from mosquitos for the experience. Finally the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Mosquitos. Make sure to have plenty of repellant. Everything else was a dream!

Very comfortable rooms at a very good place. The bar/restaurant up front is lively, but the bungalows peaceful and quiet. We organized a private boat tour which was spectacular, an excellent guide and a beautiful boat. Would definitely stay again.

The only thing we didnt like was that smoking was allowed in the bar, restaurant and outside the bungalows. The guests nextdoor smoked a lot and we were constantly sitting in their smoke early morning/late evening. Also no breakfast available, we knew up front but would definitely be nice to have. Not a dealbreaker though as the place is really nice at a price that can't be beat!

We loved Eden Bungalows. Lovely bungalow right beside the pool. Central location - excellent for nipping back for the toilet whilst at the market. Very quiet at night. Reasonably priced food and drink at hotel. Excellent massage at hotel over a water feature with running water. Staff were so lovely, saying hello every time we passed through the hotel. Pool was lovely with a bubble spa bath feature. Very quiet around the pool (in July).

The shower was difficult to "aim" so my husband had to hold it. Needed a mirror in the bedroom. Very little storage space. Rather dark in the room, needed more lights. But all of that didn't spoil our wonderful time staying there.

Just stayed here for 6 days and Absolutely loved this place,the staff were exceptionally friendly.The gardens were amazing and it was lovely to be able to sit on the porch and listen to the birds.The room was a good size as was the bathroom (loved the outdoor shower)and housekeeping kept us replenished with fresh towels and water throughout our stay.The pool area is a good size and nice to sit around after the beach. We ate in the restaurant in the evening a couple of times and the food was very nice and a good price,so too were the drinks. We would definitely recommend this little gem of a hotel and would stay here again. Thank you everybody at Eden bungalows

Nothing to dislike about the place,loved It!

It’s a wonderful oasis, the owners and all the staff were really friendly, the room we had was lovely. The pool area was small but great. We ate in the restaurant twice and the food was delicious and very cheap at 150 baht for most dishes. The cocktails at happy “hour” are great as usual the bar area. Would highly recommend a stay.
