Ibis Izmir Alsancak

I stayed in Ibis hotel chains before in other countries so I am familiar with them. As usual no major complaints at all. Clean rooms, all the necessary facilities (safety box, kettle and etc) and a great breakfast. Location couldn't be better: main pedestrian str with shops and restaurants and the promenade are in 5-10 minute walk. Izban (railway station) and tramway station are only in 1 minute walk.

wifi speed was not satisfying.

It had the more selections on television in English like CNN international BBC international and so on so this is more than other places in Turkey. I like the staff speaks English and when I ask something they can help me get there Subway or bus they're aware more or less of what's going on how to do it. Kitchen. they don't seem to reuse oil or keep stuff overnight that make you sick the next day like everywhere else outside many places outside burger king's dominos pizza etc.

Get noisy outside and the air circulation is not so good.

Great location very close to Alsancak train station and tram stop you can get to/from airport in 35 minutes, trains run every 10 minutes Ferries to Bostanli and Karsiyaka are in 10 minutes walking distance. There is long pedestrian street with tons of restaurants just 2 blocks away, also long embankment with restaurants just a bit farther Bed was comfortable, hotel was quiet, breakfast was good Small fridge available, two bottles of water were provided daily

Shower water pressure could be better for sure WiFi disappeared couple of times for 10 minutes each, please do something with this

Location is perfect. Walking distance to tram and metro station. Parking lot just across the road. Everything u need is walking distance. We hired a car after a few days and drove to fethiye. Didn’t need car while in Izmir. Breakfast was lovely and very filling. Beds are very comfortable. Only thing the rooms are a little small. Boat port not to far from hotel and lots of night life and shopping nearby

There was construction going on outside right next door. That was the annoying part. Couldn’t sleep in even if I wanted to. Too noisy

Very convenient, well connected location, kind and helpful staff, nice rooms with basic amenities provided. I only stayed one night but it was a very pleasant stay. The communication was clear and my requests were all fulfilled. Thank you to all reception team!

Nothing. It was all good. It was a little bit hot in the room even though I turned on air conditioning. I found out later that it is central heating/cooling system and you need to call reception to switch it to cool. But I don't count this as a negative because it is chilly at night in spring in İzmir.

Good hotel in a perfect location. Very close to train station and ferry, just near the active district of Alsancak, a lot of restaurants, nice streets and clubs around. At the same time the hotel stands aside of those, so there is no noise in the night. The room is equipped with all necessary, very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Wonderful breakfast included. In comparison with the local hotels nearby Ibis is the very best by the price and quality, we were happy with our stay there.

There is no view from the window, as there is the seaport in front - not a big deal though.

The hotel is ideally located in Alsancak, near bus, tram and metro stations, The staff is very helpful and kind. The rooms are cleaned every day. Excellent sound isolation and facilities you would expect form an Ibis Hotel. I loved the fact that this is the only Ibis I have been so far that has a small fridge so you can cool some small bottles of water and security safe in the room. I highly recommend it and I will come back again. Very nice and varied breakfast starting 6:30am. Thank you!

The shower hole should be cleaned with a de-clogger so some water would not retain and clog eventually. Kind note to the maintenance. Everything else as perfect.

The area is great, you can easily access busy shopping and eating areas by just couple of minutes walk, the harbour is just around the corner and you can walk around with nice scenic view of all Izmir. Room was very well cleaned every day without a single fault and always resupplied with essentials.

Hotel has 3-4 check in desks, but only 1 works so it took us 15 min wait to check in. The room was very small, but perhaps it's our fault for not checking what we book and it's enough for 1-2 days really, the AC not the strongest and may take 1-2 hours to cool down the room (which is very small).

staff were incredibly friendly at reception and the cleaning staff aswell. room was cleaned to perfection and everything was left fully topped up e.g tea station and bathroom. even though the rooms aren’t big it was definitely value for money and at a great location! 2 mins walk from loads of restaurants, 2 mins walk from the pier for a great walk. and loads of caffès right next to the hotel. taxis are available right next to the hotel 24/7. the breakfast was also really good for the price that we paid would definitely recommend if you want to stay in izmir!

Location is perfect near markets and restaurant and coffee's, Close to ferry port and sea coast Friendly and very helpful staff, The hotel has no park but there is two Parck one of them is in front of the hotel ,the second one is behind the hotel Small shop for snacks and coffe near the hotel 3m Izmir Train station near the hotel. The price is economical, the room are small but enough area for two person, breakfast was acceptable but I didn't use it because my reservation was without breakfast.
