Leitrim Hill Bed and Breakfast

We are still raving to anyone who will listen about our stay here. We were looked after impeccably by the hosts who really gave a very warm welcome. We had lovely conversations and food. These folks deserve to do well as they put 100% and more to ensuring guests have a memorable stay. The surroundings were beautiful and very welcoming. Room was 1st class. Wish we could have stayed longer. Maybe next time...... Which we are already deciding on.

Didn't like that we had to leave to go back to work

Warm welcome. The conversation. The knowledge of local area re walking. Cleanliness of the house rooms etc. Beautiful decor cheerful, fresh without being artificial. A home. It was like being at home that feeling. I could relax. Dietary requirements catered for. Delicious breakfast worthy…much better than many 5* hotels I’ve stayed in, Stunning scenery and setting. I have stayed in many different bed and breakfasts around Ireland, this is one of THE best I have experienced. Thank you Anne and Wilson.

I loved everything! This is a fabulous B&B in every way. The accommodation is well-furnished and exceptionally comfortable and clean. My bedroom overlooked the garden, with the mountains and the sea in the distance - a truly lovely, relaxing view! The breakfast was magnificent. The hosts also provided home-made scones and treats on arrival - yum! There is good parking and the property is handy to Kilkeel, Carlingford and the Mournes. I can't recommend this accommodation highly enough - I would give it 11 out of 10 if possible.

Amazing hosts, Anne and Wilson, very welcoming, lovely people. Gave us great directions to airport, drew us a map, gave us tea and scones upon arrival. Beautiful view, wonderful fresh fruit at breakfast. Felt very welcome and had a lovely room.

A bit far (35 minutes) from best restaurant but we could have gone to closer one. That was our choice. Really enjoyed this B&B!

We were made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was individually catered for and was absolutely delicious. Extra homemade cake and bread was available for us as well. The accommodation was spotless and comfortable. The view across to the coast was spectacular and there was so much to enjoy nearby.

We liked everything!

Anne is a special lady, great craic, lots of helpful local knowledge and recommendations, within half hour of arriving we booked an extra night, feeling really spoiled, the place is spotless, breakfast was superb. Lots of wee extra touches too many to mention that just made our stay extra special. Will be back again.

The location is stunning, the grounds are gorgeous, the house is lovely, the breakfasts are delicious, and the hostess, Anne, is an absolute delight. She even had a packed lunch for us for our trek up the mountains.

Breakfast was wonderful. We were given lots of choices. Hot food was hot-just as it should be. Fruit juice was cold-just as it should be. Lovely view from our table. We were even given a home made muffin to take away-just in case we were still hungry!

There was nothing we didn’t like. Everything, yes everything was perfect.

Everything about the B&B was excellent, the host couldn’t do enough for us. It exceeded my expectations of the usual B&B, from tea ,scones and buns on our arrival (all home made) to the excellent cooked breakfast next morning. The bed was very comfortable, with robes and slippers for our use whilst there. All in all I would give it 10 out of 10 ***** 5 star accommodation.
