amazing, helpful and friendly staff. Experienced exceptional customer service from Jay-the receptionist even I checked in very late around 10ish pm

The sewage odor from the bathroom in my room was disturbing. I had to keep opening and closing the window to let the odor out many times while it was 50ish outside

Balcony was nice. Room was nice, very nice pool area. Pizzeria was very good! Staff was very friendly and helpful with the exception of one "waitress". lol Was a very good experience overall.

We stayed on a floor with a barking dog. It would bark whenever someone walked past the door. The dog also swam in the pool which made it a little uncomfortable for my kids to swim. Not really sure what can be done about it though.

J.C. in the restaurant was an absolute breath of fresh air. Every morning, he greeted us with such a great energy. He absolutely reflects well for Marriott. Comfortable bed, very clean hotel, friendly staff. Awesome food and drinks in the restaurant.

The omelette station was quite nice. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The beds were more comfortable than I had expected.

The website made the Marriot Mission Valley look much nicer than it actually is. The pool, especially, on the website looks far larger and nicer. That said, it was still better than many other places I could have stayed for the same rate.

Nice, clean, updated hotel. The pool was nice, too. Only 20 min car ride to beaches, downtown and more.

At breakfast (included in my reservation), the staff never came by to bring coffee or water. They served other guests readily but would skip me. Each time, I had to walk up to the staff to kindly request a coffee pot and water. They did not seem that busy, so it was strange.

They have a "take out" option for breakfast (since there's no room service due to covid); the lady working take out was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable and the food was delicious - we did egg, bacon, hashbrowns, etc. I only waited 10min for our food and took it back up to our room. They also had a "dine in" option for breakfast as well. There's a cute little snack bar in the lobby that looks recently remodeled, it was nice to be able to purchase drinks before hitting the road. There are multiple paths from the parking lot to the main lobby, so even if you park in the side of the lot farthest away, there is a paved path close to you for getting to the main lobby.

The parking is slightly awkward because the lane lines are super small. Thankfully there were plenty of parking spots, so we always found a spot...but if they were busy I'd worry about getting a parking spot since 30% of the cars took up two parking spaces.

Location was perfect for where I was going. It was nice that parking was good and secure. I liked that there was area to purchase items that I forgot and just to grab a snack or water in the heat

Beds are a little on the hard side. It would be easier on the back with little more cushion. Otherwise the room was great.

At Den not having any of the tables bussed for breakfast both days. Front desk staff had to come and pick up dirty dishes because every table wasn't cleaned and the line of customers were out the door.

We encountered friendly and professional staff out in the curbside, in the lobby and at the receptionist. Rooms were clean. Enjoyed my shower! And I slept very comfortably. Great bed!!

The elevators were a bit slow. There were three, yet there was a line in the day to go up and during the evening. It apparently didn’t look like an overcrowded weekend, but the elevator line made it seem it did. In addition, coming out of the elevator, floors were slippery from people coming out from the swimming pool, and leaving their puddle of water. My sister and I almost slipped.

Quick, efficient and friendly staff. Changed my room immediately after finding out bathroom flush had a problem. Restaurant food was quite good. All in all a good experience.

Room cleanup was not done daily so had to ask for coffee pouch refreshes. Should have included more than one pouch if did not do daily room cleans.
