Hyatt Place Indianapolis Downtown

We liked the room, it was nice and clean, and the breakfast was good, me and my wife really enjoyed our stay

Didn't like the parking garage, my truck got broke in to and all my tools was stolen, that was the whole reason for me paying for parking in the garage because we thought it was safe and we thought there was security that patrolled the garage all through the night, but i found out they don't, I was told by one of the staffs on the last day of my stay that there is break in's and car theft all the time there, but as for my stay at the hotel we loved it.

I liked the big, spacious room. It had everything one needed (I was not expecting a mini-kitchen to be there...) The bathroom was big and clean. There was an iron in the room, which was a plus! The location is great. Walking distance from everything. Also, the airport is not very far. (I added some pics, but did not realize how bad they were when I took them. But you get the idea about how big the room was :) )

I think that the breakfast could have been better. There were no vegetables (maybe that is a US thing) and the food was the same every day, not much variety.

The hotel was very nice. the rooms were modern and comfortable. The breakfast was also very nice. For the most part, the staff was very kind and helpful.

We had issues with the valet. One of the times that we tried to leave, I texted the number and it responded that we had already used the number or picked up the vehicle and so I couldn’t request it in advance. When it was time for us to leave the hotel for good, the text ahead number worked. we got down 20 minutes later and the worker was standing at his desk and our car was not out front. Still needed to ask him to go get it. when he arrived with our car, the driver’s side window was rolled down and our car reeked of weed. I really wish that we hadn’t wasted our time and money messing with the valet.

This property is right across the street from the arena where the Pacers play. There are numerous bars, restaurants, and shopping opportunities within easy walking distance. The front desk people were very friendly and helpful. The bar is cozy and the food on the menu allows for a nice variety.

When we came down for breakfast at 8:30 a.m., which is served until 9 a.m. on weekdays, the basic offering of scrambled eggs was empty. We overheard the breakfast staff state that they were on overtime and weren't going to put any more of the scrambled eggs out. Several more guests came down but no more eggs were cooked.

The hotel itself is beautiful inside and out! Great decor and the bar area is exceptional! Staff was eager and pleasant throughout our whole stay! The rooms were perfect, large enough, bathrooms were modern, great tv clarity, lighting was excellent, and the beds were dreamy! Honestly one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in! The hotel was one of the cleanest hotels/places I’ve ever visited! Location to everything in walking distance!

I loved everything about the hotel. Clean, friendly staff, so close to everything. We have 3 kids that range from 3-10 and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go.

The only thing I didn't like was the loud cars racing down the street in the middle of the night. Not the hotels fault but something to remember. If we come back I will try and request the other side of the hotel (not the fieldhouse stadium side)

The breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is situated in downtown Indy with easy access to Gainbridge Fieldhouse and the rest of downtown. The rooms themselves were spacious and well appointed.

We had asked for housekeeping to clean our room but they did not come. It wasn't a big deal because we were there only two nights. Otherwise the hotel and amenities were great.

The room and location of hotel was nice. Had a full size refrigerator and top stove if you wanted to cook, and a dish washer.

It was construction going outside of the stadium and they were working at 5:00am that was annoying( no fault of the hotel). The bathroom door was hard to open and closed I almost got stuck inside of it. They charge too much for overnight parking, it was $35 a night. I was there for 3 nights so that's a extra $100+ added to hotel bill.

Breakfast very good. Staff was extraordinary - from the guys at the concierge desk downstairs who helped me get a luggage cart - to the front desk staff to housekeeping. The location next door to the concert venue was perfect!!!

I definitely appreciate the security setup - but how to make the elevators get to our floor was explained way too quickly and while I thought I understood it at the time - I didn't and even after I figured it out it still took several swipes to get it to work.

The lady at the front desk at check-in told us that the pool was closed, and we had to walk 5 minutes to another hotel and use their pool. The kids were disappointed, but when we came back from dinner to ask the desk where the hotel was that had the pool and the guy at the front desk said why ours is open.
