Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Asheville at Asheville Outlet Mall, NC

This is a great property that is conveniently located near the interstate as well as various restaurants and a grocery store. The hotel is a short drive from the downtown area and West Asheville. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. We had a slight issue with the shower and it was promptly repaired as soon as it was brought to the manager’s attention. As is the case at most Country Inn and Suites, the hot breakfast was outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in Asheville!!

There are really no issues with the property.

I liked having a suite to stretch out in since I was staying for a week. There was a TV in both rooms which was a nice touch. I also appreciated that there was no carpet in th rooms. I loved the comfortable chair in th corner with the footrest. I also liked how the fridge and microwave were enclosed giving the room a nice clean look. I would definitely stay there again.

There wasn't anything I didn't like per se. I think, in general, staff should be warmer in welcoming guests, but maybe the pandemic has ppl wanting to keep their distance. Yet, you can still smile, look directly at guests and welcome them to your hotel and genuinely thank them when they leave. Taking time to look at who you're talking to matters.

The staff was very helpful. They were friendly and promptly supported us on everything we needed. We could move the beds around, and that was great because we wanted to have it close to the wall so our toddler wouldn't fall over. When we moved it, it exposed a lot of dirt underneath it, which is understandable. Staff don't move beds around to clean under them. When I reported it, the staff promptly came to our bedroom to swipe and mop the floor where the bed was moved.

The breakfast had a strange, spongy egg. I can't tell really what kind of egg that was. Was it premade and warmed locally? Was it made from pasteurized eggs? I'm not sure. The soundproofing between rooms was not so great either. We could hear neighbors, but only when they were shouting. Someone screamed and someone else asked what was going on, and I could hear it. But I couldn't hear people talking or anything weird like that.

Breakfast isn’t as good as other Country Inns in the area. No variety. Exactly the same every day. The menu hasn’t changed from March 2022 until present, September 2022. The price is usually pretty fair for the most part. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, this location, quality, and price exceeds any other hotel/ motel in the area. I would suggest if this particular franchise would like to make a name for themselves to surpass they’re competition, they would alternate their continental breakfast menu, close the gaps in their blackout blinds, and invest in upgrades to the showers/ bathrooms to make them standout above the rest. Seamless Caulking, and modern-contemporary shower heads go a long way

Listed as a 3 star hotel; however, current facility and Amenities is an upper end 2 star at best.

Room was clean, location was convenient - about half way between the Downtown Asheville and Pisgah Forest. Next to an outlet mall and main road. Next to Ingles (grocery store) with a gas station for anything you might have forgotten or need.

Minor downside is that you have to do a U-turn to get onto Brevard to be able to turn into the parking lot if you're coming up from the south side and Brevard is a main road with plenty of vehicles. Just pack a little bit of patience with the road signal but it isn't too bad. Minor inconvenience.

The staff was friendly and helpful, parking was good, the room was clean, and the property seemed secure.

Only item that did not meet expectations was breakfast on our last day. We arrived about 6:45 and found 3 of the 4 juice selections were empty, there was no sausage available and the food selections were pretty well picked over. I think this was a glitch as the other 2 mornings things were fine.

They had just finished up-dating the room and it was clean and fresh with new furnishings. The thermostat worked so we were able to be comfortable during the day and at night. New bed and we slept well. They had a blanket so we were able to replace the comforter.

They had replaced the carpeted floor with a vinyl. Very slick and not easy on feet without shoes. The desk chair had rollers and you really had to be careful when you sat down or it would roll out from under you. "Something mechanical" was broken so there were no hot items on the breakfast bar. Only had oranges for fresh fruit and those ran out the 2nd morning.

Suite was clean & spacious, staff were helpful, breakfast buffet was ok but could have been better.

Trash never got emptied in my suite so cans overflowed before leaving. Location has very limited & tight parking which was a problem with my full sized van. More handicapped spaces are definitely needed along with regular spaces & rules of no trailers as posted should have been enforced. Some items were cold on breakfast buffet 1st morning & since styrofoam plates are provided could not heat them up.

Hotel was clean. Staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast was good.

On the day of arrival, after check-in, the room key card didn't work. The next day, we went out came back and the room key card didn't work again. Otherwise the hotel was great.

The location was perfect-close enough to easily get to the attractions but far enough away from the busy downtown area. Also the outlet is within walking distance across the street. Additionally it was very quiet day and night.

Overall breakfast was OK but there weren't any healthy options during my stay-Oatmeal, Bananas, Apples, etc. This is the first hotel I've ever stayed at that did not have pictures or anything on the walls in the room. The lobby is so warm and inviting it seems that this theme would continue to the rooms, but it didn't.
