Super Hotel Candle

We had the best stay at Super Hotel Candle, it was a real treat for us. Our serviced apartment was big and comfortable, housekeeping came daily to clean and replace our towels and water. The air conditioning was very much needed, and worked wonderfully. We visited the pool daily, which the kids loved. We enjoyed the spa and saunas, and a lovely massage. The buffet breakfast was amazing! The kids and adults alike loved it. The staff were wonderful and helped us with anything we needed or asked for. The bellmen Viet and Quan welcomed us home each day and helped us organise a taxi when we wanted an outing. Overall, top ratings from us.

Things to note include: our serviced apartment didn't have any cutlery, plates, pots, etc. for cooking or eating-in. There were two coffee mugs and four water glasses. This was actually fine as we didn't end up needing to prepare our own food. I bet if we had asked the staff they would have organised these for us. The street the hotel is on is very busy. To walk down the street you need to weave on and off the pavement/road and be vigilant of the motorcycles. We learnt to navigate this with two young kids, and overall enjoyed all the food/shops the street had to offer.

First of all, the hotel gave us a free room upgrade, which was very nice. The staff were very attentive and helpful to us and especially our 2 young children at breakfast. The hotel is a little old, but has all the amenities, the hot pool was a favourite as was the nice coffee shop on the 1st floor. the breakfast had a wide enough selection, but everything tasted good, sometimes at buffet breakfasts the food is tasteless and low quality, but not this place. There's also a good selection of food on the streets nearby.

As with all my recent reviews, this review is based on the current COVID situation, but unfortunately the rooftop bar wasn't open, we were hoping to go. The lobby could do with some music playing just to make the atmosphere more alive, as mentioned before, it's probably COVID related, but the lobby felt a bit sterile.

Front desk very helpful, specifically in helping us find a location for our required COVID testing for departure. The on-site onsen and spa were very convenient and nice. The room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast in the morning was varied and delicious.

The only recommendation is to have more recommendations for off-site dining. Since they have a restaurant perhaps this is discouraged.

A very great hotel with great facilities. Being upgraded to an one room apartment. The unit is very spacious. Staffs are very polite and will support you whenever you need any assistance.

Located a bit far from the city centre.

A good level of standard in customer service towards the guests.

This is not about the property directly. It seems that some drivers have difficulties finding the place. Perhaps, it might be due to the design of the road.

The staff were all friendly and helpful.(It didn't seem forced at all!) The rooms, the service and the food were amazing! Worth every penny and will definitely visit the hotel again.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. They were extremely polite and courteous too and made our stay very comfortable.
