Hotel Argjiro

Amazing location right next to the bazaar and close to Gjirokastër castle. Breakfast was incredible! The girls at reception were extremely friendly and helpful. They even posted my jacket back to me which I had forgotten at their hotel.

Access to the property is not straight forward if you are following Google maps. Very noisy - this is because of the stray dogs barking all night but this is not under the hotels control. Also workmen next door woke us up at 7 AM loading/unloading huge boulders.

We stayed in the chalet for one night. the room is very large and cozy and provided with anything you may need. The toilet is small but ok. the position is amazing, straight into the city centre. The staff is friendly and gave us info on place to visit as well restaurant where to eat.

Having a socket close to the mirror would have bee really useful. Currently there are major works ongoing so the parking isn't available and finding a free park around is not always easy. Finally, the entrance of the chalet is located on the roof terrace and despite we did not have any issue, someone may not like having people in the terrace, outside your room, until late

Perfect location to explore the lovely town. It’s a classy and charming hotel. Recommend their room with balcony that looks over the cobbled street heading to bazaar. Comfy bed, small but effective shower. Decent breakfast. From the beginning, Migena from reservations was extremely helpful and friendly and helped us book transfers, directions and gave recommendations.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were so friendly and attentive. The square by the hotel was being repaved but the reception team came out happily to meet us with our cases and the baby. Service was exceptional. Silva assisted us in a trip to the Blue Eye Spring.

It was all lovely.

Perfectly placed at the beginning of the old bazaar and close to the underground parking. The staff was very friendly and helped us to free our cars from the maze of small streets. Brilliant breakfast, good Wi-Fi and a big room with a balcony giving on the bazaar. Good soundproofing, too. Would love to stay here again.

the hotel is very good located , in the center of the old town . They served a very good breakfast,and the room was very clean

the room was a little small ,and the ac didnt work so well ,but in generall i would for sure recomand and stay again there in gjirokaster

I gjendur në zemër të pazarit, thep me Kalanë e Argjirosë, ambjenti i arreduar shumë ngrohtë, me hapsira të përbashkëta ku mund të pushosh, lexosh, marrësh një kafe dhe të shijosh pamjen e këndshme që të ofrohet përpara. Çarçafët e bardhë si drita. Stafi shumë mikpritës dhe të gatshëm për të asistuar në çdo gjë që mund të duhej. Mengjesi bufe i shijshëm, i ngrohtë dhe i shumëllojshëm. Pavarsisht orës së check-in Stafi i hotelit na ka mundësuar të check-ojmë disa orë përpara gjithashtu dhe na ka lejuar të lemë çantat pas check-out pa ndonjë tarifë shtesë. Fotografitë e Marubit në koridor touched me deeply, më sollën pak Shkodër në Gjirokastër :)

Centrally located - good walking distance to castle, Cold War tunnel museum and other points of interest. A large hotel popular with groups and therefore well organised. Breakfast buffet with good selection. Many roads into old town closed for traffic because of construction, which confounded our phone map apps. Called management and they competently guided us to the closest available parking and to the hotel.

not the hotel's fault but the town's project to build a central multi-story car park has blocked many of the roads. We ultimately had to park some way down the hill from the hotel. For travellers who do struggle to carry their luggage up a hill, it may be worth checking whether construction / disruption has finished (due I think in spring 2022)

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown. I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Argjiro. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Thank you! Will recommend to my colleagues!
