Castlereagh Lodge Motel

Close to supermarket, bowls club for the best meals, close to town as small as it is everything I needed was there. Bakery, cafe, post office, gift shop and more. The beds were so so comfy, quiet location, safe location ( I accidentally left unit key in the door overnight) . Close to other small towns with amazing art. Locals are friendly they'll tell you where to go and look after you like family.

The security screen door didn't lock. Fridge very very small. Wifi really bad, went to the library and got better.

Located on the main highway , The unit was very well presented inside and effort had been made to make the room look really inviting and comfortable. There are a range of unit sizes including family rooms . Our unit had a fridge/microwave/jug/toaster /tea & coffee supplies & bikkies, , good parking ,they do a cooked breakfast delivered to your unit and are conveniently located opposite the Bowling Club for a very reasonably priced meal and also opposite a Service Station and just along from the IGA supermarket. We'd be happy to stay here again.

Not very soundproof and be aware the hot water is very very hot in the shower , we had a major disturbance from occupants in the next room but this in no way was the fault of the managers otherwise it was a good option for overnight accommodation in Coonamble.

The lodge was clean, beds were comfy and all amenities and facilities were fantastic. We would definitely stay at the lodge again.

The back sliding door and screen door did not lock. Lucky I had my father with me and my two daughters or we would not have felt safe with an unlockable back door.

the property was exactly what we needed! the facilities were wonderful, the room was clean and fresh. the bed was comfy and the bathroom was well equipped

This is definitely our go to place when we visit family in Coonamble. The rooms inside the main building are very comfortable, very clean and the air conditioning (which is a must for Coonamble) works amazingly. I was so impressed. Cleanliness is my top priority when staying somewhere and the cleanliness of our room each time was 10/10. Huge bathroom and room a great size. Last time we stayed we booked a two bedroom room outside. Was a different story.

The outside room we stayed in on our last visit was definitely not as clean as the inside rooms. The air conditioning is very old and very noisy. The bed was very uncomfortable also. A bit of a let down on our previous stays in the main building. Unfortunately we do need a two bedroom these days. Even so, it is a good location, the staff are always amazing, price is good and we will stay again. I would book directly with the lodge to get the best price.

The beds were comfy, and it was a short, very convenient walk to the Bowling Club for dinner. Room was neat & clean. Roomy bathroom.

A few maintenance issues with the shower rose leaking, Venetian blind not working and a chipped mug. Left a note, so hope those issues were addressed for the next customers. I found it extremely difficult to get in touch with the motel by phone. Tried 3 times and didn’t even get an answering service. Receptionist was abrupt! Expensive for the quality of the room, I thought. Very compact for a twin configuration.

it was a comfy room with comfy beds and tea coffee facilities. pool available on arrival after a hot day in the car.

bleach smell was a little strong from the cleaning but at least it was clean

The location was fantastic. The Bowling club was just across the road. Parking for a larger vehicle was good.

The bathroom was extremely small. Had to dress and undress in the room.

We had been staying in motel rooms and it was lovely to be able to spread out in this very comfortable well appointed house across the road from the motel. Great kitchen, TVs in all bedrooms , very comfortable beds and recliners in the lounge room ( very comfortable) and modern bathrooms. Our host was very pleasant and obliging. Very short walk to Bowling Club, IGA and, on recommendation, we went to the cafe run by Al for breakfast. Delicious breakfast and the best coffee. Even though there were only two of us in a large 5 bedroom house it was the equivalent money to what we were paying for motel rooms so really great value.

Nothing, it was perfect for our stay.

We arrived and we got upgraded to a unit across the street it was very comfy and had everything we needed and was right across the road from restaurants
