A Line Motel

Very friendly and accommodating proprietor. I have stayed at several family- and owner-run motels in Griffith; and this is one of the only two I now stay at, in close proximity of each other.

Guest in adjacent room kept banging on wall as I watched TV at only an average volume, at 9pm! Did not want to bother the motel owner so left it be. Issue with that particular guest rather than the motel.

The room was very clean and comfortable, bed very comfortable, good location close to most things. The fittings are old but shower good. I liked the kitchenette with a microwave, electric cooktop, good sized fridge and little sink as well as basic crockery and cutlery etc. Parking allocated directly outside room, swimming pool excellent. Good value country motel.

I was given a large room that was very good

The only thing I thought could have been better was the appearance of the grounds around the units. Lots of leaves, broken pavements and dirt but It did not effect my stay at all

Good location near main shopping area in Griffith. Parking outside room. Quiet rooms away from road. Rooms well maintained. Very comfortable bed with electric blankets. Very good heating in room. Microwave, toaster and electric jug in room. Bathroom spacious with good shower. Reasonable price.

No real negatives.

we were upgraded to larger rooms, which was unexpected and made our stay a lot more comfortable. We made use of the pool in the hot weather, which was much appreciated. The crockery and cutlery provided were useful AC efficient. More than one towel was provided per person, which was useful as we used the pool each day. The towels were good quality. Nice light room with big window which could be opened. Block out blind was useful ensuring a good sleep.

The bar fridge in our room kept freezing our snacks and drinks, we couldn't adjust the setting.

The lady who greeted me is a gem. It's close to supermarkets and a 2 minute walk to McDonald's and the main street. Rooms are very clean. Staff are very nice.

For a budget motel it's hard to say I dislike anything.

Exceptionally clean room and helpful staff. We had to modify our dates because of a weather event elsewhere and that was not a problem. Staff also went out of their way attempting to make the wifi work on our phone.

The coded wifi was free but extremely cumbersome and we ended up having to use our mobile data with some of our devices. Looking at the map, the A Line seemed very well located only a stone’s throw from the main street. But in reality it felt dangerous to cross the busy roads to get there.

The wall heater didn’t warm the room even though I turned it up to 28 Could not feel the heat unless you were standing directly underneath the unit

Everything A1 I always stay at ALine if staying in Griffith . The service, accommodation, parking, etc. are all excellent.

There is nothing I did not like.

Good location! Comfortable beds and spacious!

Room was a little outdated and the carpet was very worn and a little stained!
