Sapphire City Motor Inn

Fantastic accomodation - good location as just off road - minimal traffic noise, modern bathroom, with great liquid soaps/body wash, shaving cream, shampoos/condtionners [great scents] convenient mini kitchen set up with dishes and cutlery and we loved the electric blanket - room very cosy, Terrific car coverage for packing car epecially as it was raining, staff at reception was very friendly and helpful. Convenient options at reception for drinks sales alcohlic/non alcoholic and also conveninelty located opposite Inverell Sporties club.

Friendly staff and very accomidating, the room was nice and comfortable, it was close to a club which was handy for meals and also walking distance to the main center of town and another club. The room had all the things you need to make a light breakfast or lunch.

Just the parking of our car in front of our room, when we moved it someone else took our spot and other cars parked over the line made it difficult to park the car close by. There was also a smell from the drains but due to all the rain we have been having I suppose that couldn't be helped.

very clean unit on the older side but very comfortable with everything you need micro wave ,toaster,jug and coffee and tea bathroom was very nice looks like just been renovated club across road for dinner will definitely stay there again when we return central and close to everything

I don’t think think there’s anything to dislike about it

Lovely staff, very accommodating, flexible and welcoming. Bed was extremely comfortable. One of the cleanest hotel rooms I have stayed in.

Decent amount of road noise My neighbours left very noisily every morning which is not the hotel's fault at all but the sound does carry into the rooms.

This is a great place on every front. Handy location, easy parking, very comfortable room (bed excellent and a fast, efficient air con which was good as temp got down to 0 ) which was also stylishly decorated. Small but appreciated touches included slippers, complimentary Euro style cookie and a mini bar. The restaurant is fabulous with an extensive menu and good wines- we had a glass of red by the fire which was perfect! Staff are all very helpful - it’s a family owned and run business and you can really tell by their care factor. When we travel back to Glen Innes, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Oh, forgot to mention great coffee!!

There’s nothing to fault.

unfortunately there were large scale road & bridge works happening right beside the motel when we stayed. no fault of the motel, but heavy machinery began moving at 5.45am. we were surprised that no breakfast was offered when the motel is not adjacent any shops.

Meticulously clean. Very comfortable. Warm. Close to what you needed. I like a firm bed so was very happy. My brother had the room next to me and thought bed was too hard. So personal preference I guess.

Nothing. Loved it all.

we had just a overnight stay, traveled from the gold coast, very handy to clubs, very clean and comfortable rooms, service from staff was great, will return again no problem, the only downfall was mother nature as it rained the entire time, so couldn't explore as we would have liked, hence why we will be coming back.

the weather, rain rain and more rain.

The new mattress was comfy & when our TV died we got a new one! The location allowed me to walk to town in the evening to eat out (yes it was cold but bring enough warm clothes)!!

Great location

We had a family room and next door double room, we all felt so welcome and the size of the room was perfect for us. Loved the electric blankets.

The air conditioning is a little old and noisy but definitely better than none as it was freezing.
