Room was a decent size and amenities were comprehensive. I like that there was refill shampoo/body wash instead of many individual travel size bottles.

The TV kept switching off randomly by itself, kettle was leaking and the fridge was not cold.

Surprised by the hidden extra $40 car parking charge. It should have been included or made clear ON BOOKING.COM that the car park charge was not included.

Bed was very comfy, room was amazing up on the top floor with views of city and other high-rise buildings. Kitchen facilities were great. Location in the middle of the city is handy for shopping and dining etc. Pool area was great, but the water was freezing cold no matter what time of the day. Was refreshing before and after a sauna/steam room visit though.

Breakfast was a little lacking with options for the Buffet option, and hot foods were usually only just warm. But coffee was good! Pool is FREEZING Wouldn't let any delivery drivers (food) or guests up to the floor even with my permission over the phone, so had to get dressed to go down to the busy foyer to meet people. Also did not remember I had a late check out so I got cleaners and receptionist at my door.

This is one of those little gems you find, plonked in the middle of the CBD that has everything for the weary traveller. As a frequent and fussy traveller, I'm always on the lookout for good quality accommodation to suit my needs. I've stayed in many hotels and this one is bang on for the money. Check-in was a breeze. The staff welcoming me into the hotel were friendly and efficient and within minutes of my arrival, I had my door key. I had just stepped off the plane after a weekend of travel so I was tired and weary. I booked a studio suite and was allocated a room on the 5th floor. (Room 501). There was no view - I didn't expect it but the room itself was fantastic. Bit on the small side but given I was only there a few hours this room fits the bill. It provided me with an extremely soft comfortable mattress to sleep on, a walk-in rain shower with complimentary toiletries, a large HD TV, a desk (big points for this as I'm a writer), there was even a pod coffee machine, with pods and a small carton of fresh milk. Mood lighting, including in the bathroom was a big plus. There was an electronic curtain so closing the blackout curtains was simple. I like to keep myself fit while travelling and this hotel did not disappoint. The gym is ok, a few machines and treadmills, nothing special but adequate. According to my Garmin watch, the pool is 25m long and is ideal for doing laps! It's heated and towels are provided. There is both a dry sauna and a separate steam room. The gym is open 24/7 but the pool and sauna area are open from 6am to 10pm daily. A rare find in the heart of Brisbane. I'll definitely book again.

Super central location. You couldn't ask for anything better. Right at the doorstep of major CBD shopping districts but slightly away from it all so you could have a quiet/peaceful night's sleep. Reception was also super helpful and kind.

The phone didn't work, so we had to call reception using our mobiles to request anything. The shampoo, conditioner and soap ran out halfway through our 1-week stay and was not refilled during housekeeping, so we requested a top-up for all three but to our dismay, they only replaced the shampoo and conditioner. We had to use our own soap for the rest of the stay because we couldn't be bothered calling again. And one time, after a housekeeping clean, the room/bathroom smelled quite awful and we had to ask for an air freshener (we tried to open the windows but couldn't). Instead, housekeeping came up to give us wipes.

The television wasn't up to date with the hotel amenities menus (we contacted reception about the pillow menu which wasn't offered any longer) we also had an issue turning the television off and needed help from the reception team. It seemed odd to my partner and I that the sauna and steam rooms were separate. We did not utilise them as we would have liked because we would have had to sit alone.

Absolutely everything. I appreciated feeling so welcome upon arrival at the hotel and always finding support and great help from the receptionists, they are an excellent team, all of them are helpful and extremely friendly. They get out of their ways to help and I find that admirable. The hotel in itself is perfectly located, you have everything you need nearby, supermarket, shopping center and to me the best, the botanical garden. The hotel facilities were also out great, the kitchenette was very convenient, the bed extremely comfortable and I had a bath! I've used the gym and the swimming pool several time, so it was nice to have a routine. There is also a washing machine available at the gym level and for those who do not enjoy training while waiting for their clothes, a huge TV and a pool game. I also must mention the kindness of the housekeepers, they did a fantastic job and were so nice to speak to. On top of that, since it was Christmas, we had a little surprise on our door, that day, I guess Christmas father didn't forget about us :) Honestly, I'll definitely be back, I felt really relaxed after my stay there. Thank you for everything!

Our room was great and the indoor pool and gym were amazing. Right in the middle of the city so easy to get around. Staff were always friendly.

At the time of our stay the railway station was/is under construction right across the road so it was very noisy for a few nights and early mornings. I went to the front desk to ask for some earplugs and she was very apologetic about the noise. So note to self and others, always take earplugs when you travel just incase :)

The entrance was fresh and clean with an easy drop off and pick up right outside for taxis and ubers. The location was close but away from the noise and filth of the mall with a lovely spanish restaurant and some nearby cafes. An easy check in and check out made for a seamless trip and lifts with sanitiser and minimal wait made it easy and hygenic to get too and from your rooms which were lovely and clean with comfortable beds and pillows ( a rarity in hotels). TV that has casting ability that actually works, espresso pod machine, housekeeping daily, great block out blinds, wheelchair accessible. Before arriving to the hotel we had said to eachother that we won't stay in Brisbane city again as our past 4 trips this year have been expensive, filthy rooms, loud and busy locations on a hill, poor service and left us really disliking brisbane. Capri by Fraser had so many great things that we have changed our mind and will visit again thanks to a wonderful stay. We have already recommended to friends, family and strangers.

The mini fridge was hot, it didn't cool at all. Thankfully we were just using it to store water bottles.
