Location, staff and cleanliness

The TV was incredibly slow. The sink tap was extremely hot no matter which way you turned it (even after waiting a while for heated by the sun water to pass through). The curtains allowed light through at the top which meant the outside light shone brightly all night. Same as door, also noisy cars early in the morning sound came through. These are sort of petty comments but it did impact my stay and probably will choose somewhere else next time.

Family room was really spacious. Great dining table and big rooms. Great air conditioning. Comfortable room.

WiFi and TV was tricky to work out. Not enough crockery and cutlery for the number of people staying - but this was rectified by staff when told about it. Toaster needs replacing - burns toast on the lowest setting. I feel for what we are paying to stay, some free laundry facilities would be warranted. Did not appreciate having to pay for that, and having to have the correct money - only accepts $1 coins.

It was exactly what I looked for when I booked the place. I booked it for a reason and was not disappointed. Great place great facilities. When I return I know where I am staying. The restaurant was a highlight.

The length of my stay could of and should of been longer. Not much to put here because it would not be true.

We were in the middle of moving interstate and still had our dog with us before we could fly him out ahead of us leaving. Being able to find a comfortable place to sleep and keep him with us for the night was a huge relief.

It would have been nice to have a microwave available in the room. There was an option to hire one for $15 per night which I felt was unreasonable

Friendly staff. Clean room. Spacious rooms. Loved the pool. Nice and quiet. Well maintained.

Kitchen staff didn't realise we were booked in for breakfast and thought it was for dinner. We were in a bit of a rush, and having a big family needed some more food ready to go. Hence why we booked in for the buffet breakfast. I did appreciated that they did apologised once they realised.

Near the airport, Coral Cay was easy to get to and in an ideal location. The hotel was stunning, surrounded by palm trees and a relaxing pool. The bed was so comfy (especially after 2 days of travelling from England) and the shower was so warm with high pressure. I would definitely stay here again! Thanks for having me, especially over the Easter weekend.

Bathroom and living area a bit dirty. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t in use but that’s not anyone’s fault, just unfortunate

The room was very tidy and the staff were incredibly friendly. The staff had a very welcoming manner and felt very genuine in conversation.

The location wasn't amazing but in saying that we didn't stay for the views we stayed close to everything and needed WiFi for work so location wasn't exactly important for us anyway.

Fortunately we were able to get room service meal, as once again the restaurant was closed.

Hoping that in future the restaurant is open when we go to stay. When we come to Mackay for the day from Moranbah, we usually have a busy day and just want to come to the Motel and have dinner at the same location without having to go out again. Recently, the restaurant has been closed.

Location is great for where I needed to be for work. Rooms were clean and tidy, staff were very helpful.

Was hoping the restaurant would be open for dinner on the Sunday night when I arrived, but understand like everywhere it's hard to get staff at the moment. Was great to be able to get room service from the restaurant on the Monday night though, great alternative.
