Rockhampton Riverside Central Hotel

everything was suitable for my needs. this is pretty basic accommodation no frills but clean.

There were many stairs to the room and the room was very small ,no room to move around at all.a quick stay for us as the trip was last minute and I needed accommodation quickly so no time to shop really just booked the first I found available really. $150 per night is for the short walk to the river I guess as you couldn't actually see it. I did expect something a little bigger for that price though.

it would have been great to get dishwashing detergent and a tea towel to allow washing of cutlery and crockery. When travelling it is hard to get these things and there is a sign asking for everything to be washed or extra cost (seems those before us hadn’t washed things well - some dirty plates etc). The shower is dripping and can’t be stopped, would be great to have this fixed so not slippery in shower and to save water.

Our Crew felt comfortable, relaxed and were able to rest adequately with the quiet setting of the accommodations. Rooms were Clean, and smelled CLEAN! (which for our crews is primary factor when choosing accommodations).

That we couldn't use the pool as it was closed for the winter season. But the guys got to have a few beers by it anyway, so they were pretty chuffed.

Great location! Right on the river and an easy scooter ride / walk to restaurants. I love it when places are quiet they give you 'the best room in the house' so we had a river view room. Staff were very welcoming. Microwave in room came in handy for breakfast (Do yourself a favour and try Malaysia House across the road for dinner YUMMM)

Room is a bit small. Double Bed rather than queen so a little short.

Room was adequate size. Bed was comfy. TV good, tea making kettle etc good. Shops nearby to walk to. Not too noisy despite traffic outside.

Shower screen needs an extra panel to close over. However shower was great - water pressure. Very clean bathroom.

Great basic room, quiet. In a great location close to our sporting event and to shops. Good wifi and my son loved the swimming pool. Great value for money.

Website said the room would have queen bed and single but only king size bed in room.

It served our purpose. clean, central, good aircon, great shower pressure. We were two ladies travelling so we felt safe on the second floor in the middle of the hotel.

Friendly staff and walking distance to East Street Reastaurants didn't need to drive.

The rooms were clean and bathroom were vey clean but the stairs from our suite 107 and 108 at the back leading down to carpark need a good clean.. very dirty. Also 2 flights of stairs to our room no lift in the building made it hard on our legs and knees with Arthritis.

The hotel was within walking distance to parks, the aquatic centre, Coles and restaurants. The room was comfortable and had a toaster, jug and microwave so we could make our own meals when we wanted to. The staff were lovely as well, and went above and beyond for us when we had car troubles.
