Hotel Spirodom

Everything in the hotel really; quite and clean.

As it's a 4 star hotel and in the evening, when I find the restaurant nearly empty, I expect to sit wherever I please and not be told that the entire room has been reserved by other guests and the only place where I can sit is in the centre of the room. This sort of "reserved tables rubbish" should be left to the little family run hotels and not a 4 star hotel and restaurant. You lost my business that evening because I went elsewhere to eat because of the "take it or leave it" rude attitude the young maitre showed me when he showed me the only place i could eat.

Nice Wellness area with the view of the abbey. The Admont abbey was also with the kids were easy program after the rich breakfast in the hotel. Wassererlebniswelt is also very close, max half an hour driving from there Haulyfahrt an other half hour. The dinner was also enough and tasty. We were not needing anything else, this hotel has everyone comfort for a short or longer stay (biking, hiking possible). Kind regards, Solana Apartments Ossiacher See

The Hotel Spirodom is a beautiful hotel in the heart of Admont and in walking distance to the Abbey and the town center. It has almost everything your heart desires. The rooms are spacious with balconies. The hotel has a wellness center, pool and sauna, three EV charging stations, free parking. The breakfast is opulent.

The rooms lack air-condition and refrigerators. The diner lacks variety of food and for 28 € per person this isn’t necessarily good. Since we booked it separately and ate around 8PM a lot of items were missing.

BEST location- walking distance (less than 10 minutes) to the monestary, grocery shopping, and restaurants. Parking was easy right in front of the hotel. Pool was very nice at full 1.6m with a long sitting bench, so perfect for proper exercise but also relaxation. We ended up utilizing the exercise equipment, which was not originally planned. So fantastic to have all of the amenities options. Everyone was very friendly.

Would have been nice to have a bathtub, but we booked knowing it was only a shower in the room so that's ok!

Beautiful location. Buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent and the service was good. The room was clean and the surrounding area was quiet. The pool was well maintained.

It seemed that every beverage option at dinner was an extra cost. Complementary juices or sparkling water would have been appreciated.

Spotlessly clean. The restaurant on the top floor has inside and outside areas with great views. Breakfast offered enormous choice and was very tasty. Pool area (indoor only pool) is small but spotless, with a few outside sun loungers. Staff were cheerful and helpful. Room facilities (coffee/tea making, good powerful shower, robes and towels, including spa towels) were good. A great base for visits to the Gesäuse national park and for visiting the Admont monastery.

Spirodom is a modern hotel, so obviously rooms are less characterful than in some older hotels, but public areas (bar, restaurant and spa) were very pleasant.

Excellent breakfast. Great location for mountainbiking und hiking.

We didn't use the fitness room because of the beautiful weather, but the fitness equipment would not be sufficient for a few days of bad weather.
