Falkensteiner Balance Resort Stegersbach - Adults only

It is the second time we stay here and again we loved it, and looking forward to visit again . Everything is super amazing : Food (chef restaurant)breakfast. light lunch and dinner , room , and spa . We rented e bikes from the hotel and had a lovely afternoon biking in the area . The stuff is so kind and nice .

Everything was super amazing. The only thing that that disturbed our stay is that the pool and jacuzzie that were supposed to be heated to 32 C were not heated for 2 days during the weekend so very few people used it , the stuff said that there was a tech issue during the weekend and a technician will come on Monday to fix it, I expect such a hotel to either fix it in a a shorter time or invite us to go to the Therme near by until the issue will be fixed.

Fantastic chef's in kitchen excellent foods. Food is really healthy and mostly organic. Spa and Wellness fantastic temperature of water in pools. Restaurant stuff was excellent and friendly. All days you have available water infusions in spa and pool area which is awesome. Peoples on reception desk are very sweet. Hotel is adults only which is really perfect for relaxing. Hotel has fantastic Austrian wine carts.

Housekeeping not working not properly. They are not doing their job well. Only in case you asking them strictly. They don't changed our bads. Only 1 time per week which is terrible if you pay 5* service. Thay always forget to change our bathrobe also in case was totally full of water. Housekeeping not using vacuum cleaners in the rooms. Not using mopping in bathrooms. For themselves is enough changed towels and make up beds faster way how is possible. Honestly this is all. Thay are not full feeling liquid soap for hand. Thay always forget put new coffee tablets Nespresso. After 3 days hotel write that you are reciveing bottles of water to room. We didn't reciced one.

We travel a lot, but perhaps never before have we stayed in a place that so practically translates its credo: “Welcome Home”. The caring environment we faced at every point made every moment truly home. The very kind staff at the reception, in the restaurants - host person, servers and chefs -, in the bars and in the spa area; the pianist gentleman; the room preparation; Peter who helped with the car hire; all showed a kindness rarely seen in life or in the hotel industry. We had a great time! Thank you very much to everyone we had the opportunity to meet and to those who work behind the scenes to make such a customer experience possible. We will definitely be back!

Perfect place to relax with good welness and great kitchen.

The room was small. Stuff is very nice but doesn't speak well English. I have asked if the rental of the bikes is free of charge, I was told yes it is and turned out we had to pay for it. The same was with iron. I have asked to borrow an iron they asked me to give them my dress they have ironed it and and charged me for 2 dresses 18 Euro without prior notice.

Great place to relax over a weekend, the sauna area is great, the full board is breakfast, 'light' lunch (but also with a warm main dish!) and full on dinner with some wonderful options. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Awesome that they allow an early check in and a late check out! Keep it in mind when planning a weekend there :)

the shower in the room and the bed were not a 5* standard I would argue, but maybe I'm too picky at this point.

We absolutely loved the food!! That was amazing! The spa was also really nice.

I find it very expensive. Not many extras in the room except for some juice and water. No snacks, no welcoming present (We stayed in less expensive hotels that did a way better job at this). Also the staff in the restaurant don’t speak English very well. On top of that their German isn’t great either. I was 38 weeks pregnant and there was a miscommunication about the food. I almost ate raw tuna.

- The food was great especially the breakfast variety - The room was spacious - the bathroom was outstanding

- The mattress was too hard (for us) - A bit loud in the dining area - Not everywhere spot on clean like you expect it from a hotel in this price range and at some spaces you could see some signs of usage

The stay at this truly fantastic hotel exceed all our expectations. I can speak for hours about the excellent service, outstanding qualities of facilities, great food, and wonderful surroundings. To cut a long story short - Falkensteiner Resort is a must for couples looking for the utmost relaxation and comfort

Not the first but iam sure not the last time at this place. We love it from tip and toe the location, the wonderfull pool overlooking the golf place the kindest staff ever. Thank you welcoming our dog with so much love.

the hotel beach area was a little crowded and was running out free sunbeds cos everybody was "holding" them with towels...it was annoying but nothing to do with the hotel. only more sunbeds would needed :) a dogbeach ....would be nice :D

What we liked: the hotel room and bathroom were spacious, cleaning was sufficient every day, the minibar filled with drink and free (paying only if you have it refilled), food is varied, nicely served and very delicious. The spa area is big enough, not crowded, the temprature of the pools is warm enough. Normal bike can be rented free of charge, and one hour golf course is also for free.
