La Casona Hotel Boutique

Everything about La Casona was excellent. It is one of the coolest, most beautiful hotels I've stayed in in South America. Every corner of the hotel is unique. Having breakfast in the copola is amazing and there are plenty of options. The staff went above and beyond for us, and stored our bags while we went on a few overnight trips. Extra plus was having a driver waiting to pick us up at the airport after going through the immigration chaos at 3am.

Only downside of this hotel is its location. It is on a very busy road in one of the more touristy areas. However, this means that its easy to get to and find and there are lots of food options nearby.

Large, clean, and comfortable room. Bed is very good. Love its central location. Next to San Francisco Church and walking distance to the witch market and a lot of restaurants. The view from the top of the hotel is fantastic. They have elevator. Many hotels don’t have elevators, but this hotel has. Very nice staff.

Showers was not hot, only lukewarm even after turning it on for 15 minutes.

The location is ideal. The staff is excellent. Everything is extremely clean and the historical building is beautiful.

One room that I was put in was very noisy, but they changed me to another room as soon as I said some thing

it’s very stylish old building in the heart of La Paz, rooms are rather spacious, there is good pressure at the shower, the bed was extremely comfortable.

would be nice to have a kettle in a room, breakfast is outrageously modest and blinders in my room were somehow broken. hotel needs a few adjustments but it’s pretty decent

The location of this hotel is great, close to the mercado de brujas. We arrived late on Sunday and were able to get an accommodation for an additional bed. We also were give a breakfast to go at 2am on the morning we left which helped us through the airport wait. The staff were helpful.

I like the breakfast location - it is on the 6th floor with beautiful view. Hotel is in central location and everything what you need.

It was a bit noisy because there was a local strike and because of central location, but it was secure.

Very quiet. No traffic noise at all from the nearby busy road. Comfortable beds and plenty of storage space. A minimally stocked mini fridge which allowed personal items to be chilled. Nice ambience for the whole hotel.

A kettle in the room so that hot drinks can be prepared would have been nice. We invited our La Paz family for lunch but were unable to put the meal on our bill causing a scramble for cash as my credit card was upstairs in my room.

Great place to stay, in a nice zone. The architecture of the hotel is really charmly. Excellent Price-quality relation. Restaurant with good food

Kindness of the workers

A bit slow serving the food (I only had breakfast there). The room was a bit cold and when I activated the heating, it was very noisy.
