Long Set Resort

We stayed for a week and relaxed. The resort is well kept the beach is cleaned every morning. The rooms are a good size with a large bathroom. Overall the resort is showing some signs of aging. There were tiles broken or missing around the pool and the pool itself needs cleaning, some of the beach loungers were broken, just little things like that. The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast had a good selection but the coffee was weak maybe this was to encourage you to buy from the bar?

We stayed at Long Set Resort for 7 nights and loved every minute. This wonderfully laid-back resort is just a few meters from the jetty where the boats from Sihanoukville dock. We were greeted on the jetty by porters from the hotel, to take our bags. We had a lovely, warm greeting at reception. The hotel comprises a central open-air (roofed) reception and restaurant, right by the sea, but shaded by palm trees, and individual bungalow-type rooms. Our room was spacious, very clean and well maintained. We had breakfast, some lunches and some dinners in the restaurant. The menu was good and all the food we had was excellent. On Saturday and Wednesday they do a BBQ on the beach, which is really nice. We actually saw the fisherman land the catch, which was then on display in the evening. Perfect. The staff were absolutely delightful. Everyone was incredibly friendly, smiley and helpful. We really enjoyed being there with them. They made the place special. Long Set Beach is a very quiet, beautiful beach. White sands, warm, blue sea and very few places to stay, making it very peaceful. I got up early each morning, around 05:45 and walked along the beach watching the sunrise - everyday this was astonishingly beautiful. We stayed here for 7 nights and had the most peaceful, relaxing stay. It was perfect. A huge "thank you" to the Long Set Team for giving us such a great stay!

Amazing location on Long Set beach - easily one one of the best beaches on the island (if not the best) and a great place to relax. Very picturesque. We had a lovely cabin with a beach view. Close to the pier and Pub Street restaurants. Direct access on the ferry from Sihanoukville. Staff were fantastic. Especially loved that they had a super friendly and sweet resort dog named Lucky! He made my whole holiday - they should advertise him!

Suggest that the restaurant include some designated vegan and vegetarian items on the menu. Breakfasts could have been more varied and similarly - more veg friendly. More tour options would be great - we wanted to go snorkeling and could only go on an (expensive) private boat tour or on a party boat trip which was a hideous experience.

The hotel is very close to the pier so it was easy to get there quickly. It is located next to the beach with a big variety of the sun beds and benches and tables to sit and enjoy the sunrise with a cup of coffee. The restaurant's menu is nice, though we missed the offer of the local fish catch. I believe that's what you usually expect from the island's kitchen - some seafood and fish!

I believe the fitness facilities can be better. I could not find a proper yoga mats, two which I could find were pretty dirty. A sanitiser in the toilet room and fitness room would be great. And water dispenser at the fitness areas too.

The location was pretty good if you would like to relax but still have access to some bars/restaurants without the noises of a busy village. The beach was clean and quiet, the restaurant had very good food and the breakfast included was very good with different options. The pool was clean. The room looked a little bit smaller than the pictures but the bed was comfortable and there was Aircon and a fan to choose from. the gym was warm and full of mosquitoes, however with lotion on we managed to get a work out done

The facilities in general were a bit worn out: the curtains in the room were stained as the duvet; the sunbeds were sometimes broken other than this, and a propension to put Ed Sheeran on repeat in the morning, we had a great time and recommend this place

Our 3 night stay at Long Set Resort was fantastic! Everything from the breakfast, to the rooms, to the pools was wonderful. We were even given a free upgrade to a larger room because the initial room we checked into had faulty lighting. This room was in their new building so if you can try and get a room there. We had pool access right from the balcony! The only complaint is that the rooms don't have a phone to contact the reception and there is no room service. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The location is also great! I think it is the most convenient place to stay on Koh Rong. Just 3min walk from the pier. There were a bunch of restaurants and shops just a 5min walk away. And a beautiful 30min walk along the beach and through the forest to Koh Touch village.

perfect location by the beach. the pool was also good and swings and playground which our three year old granddaughter enjoyed. the breakfast was good with Asian and European options. The family room was big. there are also cheaper food options close by. The walk along the beach was lovely and you can walk to a busier area if you want. The ferry service worked well and staff helped us to confirm and with our bags. it is very close to the ferry stop.

The food was a little expensive and not as tasty as other options close by. the portions were small. a children’s pool would have been good but we were fine.

The hotel was right on the beach and very convenient as you arrive at the pier situated just in front of the property. The sun beds were clean and comfortable. The rooms were good size and clean. Nice BBQ dinner on the beach option.

We received some misinformation regarding boat times to a near by island from the front desk which lead us to spend $60+ and waste few hours of our day without actually having even 15 mins on the island we wanted to visit.

great location, idyllic beach

Walking up and down the beach this resort appears to be the better facility in comparison to others I saw. This resort offers the most comfortable beach (reclining and cushioned) chairs and hammocks. Breakfast options are plentiful and delicious. Close proximity to the dock, but not too close. Appreciate the staff(combing) cleaning the beach each morning. Loved the New Year’s Eve activities and fireworks celebration!

Please one or two more hammocks. The hammocks are always in demand.
