Holiday Inn Express Kamloops, an IHG Hotel

The location of the breakfast was ok, but did think the quality was very low on bread products and extremely low-quality meat products. Dry and hard meats, one can tell its not good quality McDonalds is better quality. The coffee was decent but only skim milk? no options for anything other than skim milk or coffee mate.

Better meat products, choice of milk product added for coffee, and longer breakfast hours than 9:30, increase this to 10:30 would be better. This is a good hotel with friendly people and staff. it is a great place to stay.

The complimentary breakfast was great! I liked the decor of the room and how clean it was.

Unfortunately we booked on the weekend a hockey team was staying at this hotel and they ran up and down the hallways at all hours, no staff or parents asked them to stop or handled it. The curtains also don't close which is REALLY weird so it was bright at night and difficult to stay asleep. Additionally, upon check in I had an inconsolable baby who I was having difficulty with and the staff member let two people in front of me without even asking if I was needing help, by the time she finally helped me my baby had been screaming for ~15 minutes, it would have been GREAT to have been checked in right when I got there and not have to wait for two other people who came after me. It definitely put a sour taste in my mouth right from the start.

Hotel was easy to find. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was quite spacious and clean (except for the carpet, which was stained and required steaming). The bed was comfortable and the included breakfast was very good. Places close by for dinner. Would happily stay again.

Carpet needed a clean. Everything else was good.

The leisure facilities where not available because of Covid guidelines. King bed Awesome... Decor was clean & modern. Great room, didn't feel like a stuffy hotel room. Wasn't able to use breakfast because of my early 4am departures. But bag brunch was available from 6:00am - . In a World where hotel rooms can be silly expensive. I found a Great Hotel at a great price.

In a 5 day stay they did not once replenish the coffee or bath supplies except at arrival date. I did ask for coffee at front desk, and they were happy to help. But, Guests shouldn't be put in that position. Also ... I can understand that an ice machine on every floor beside the Pop vending machine is not really necessary. But, It would be helpful if there was a sign to state where the ice is available...

Liked the quiet A/C unit, the comfy beds and the roomy shower.

It took us 2 hours to get the TV to turn on as the remote batteries seemed to be dead. There was a noise incident during the night with someone blowing a car horn for about 20 minutes and then loud conversation for a further hour. Not what you want to her when you are trying to sleep. The breakfast was served buffet style with no masking or restrictions, despite risks from Covid 19. We were not comfortable with this style and went to Tim Horton's drive thru instead.

Although the hotel was a little more run down than expected - the staff more than made up for it! We had been evacuated from Kelowna and everyone was so amazing and understanding about the situation. kudos to the amazing staff!!!!

The location was great and the breakfast was good

The duvet cover had blood on it and it was tucked in underneath so we couldn't see it, but the covers we too short so we untucked it and that is how we saw it. It doesn't make us feel like cleanliness for the bedding is a high priority, and that is what is most important to us

The front desk was very friendly and welcoming. They supplied extra towels and very quickly resolved our TV issue. The night clerk was exceptionally friendly and chatted with us for a few minutes after we returned from a medical appointment at 2:00 AM.

My son loved the pool and the room. My husband and son loved the breakfast. I love the Pizza Now Restaurant that delivered delicious food to us so we didn’t have to go out again after a long drive!

Nothing. Everything and everyone was lovely.

Great breakfast,appreciated the scrambled eggs, bacon along with selection of breads and bagels. Hotel location for our our trip was perfect,close to Costco and easy access to down town Kamloops.

In regards to the recycling program in the breakfast area , I would suggest a clear itemized list be posted above station indicating what items are actually accepted as recyclable as I noticed much of the single use items also gets put in the trash.
