Peaks Lodge

This is a family own hotel with really sweet and welcoming owners. The place is dog friendly and they have a few really cute dogs on sight. The bed was really comfy and we enjoyed jacuzzi and sauna - it was a blast after multi day hiking trip. This hotel just 5 mins away from Reverstroke, right on the highway. We were really browned away by welcoming atmosphere of the owners.

There is no gel shower as a part of your stay and only a hand soap, which is not a big deal, just unusual in my experience. Would be great to have some hot breakfast as well, instead of just packed snacks.

The location was perfect in preparation for our next day's trip south to Kelowna on 97. The breakfast was a bagged meal which had lots of variety...fruits, energy bars, yogurt and a muffin. Orange juice and coffee were available on the counter where you picked the bag up. The hosts were very helpful and were kind enough to allow us to stay for a couple of hours and use the free WIFI while we made arrangements for flights and hotels at a distance.

Was surprised at how old it appeared to be. OUR room was small but it was also a request on my part to be as much on the ground level as possible.

It's lovely. The management is super down to earth. Rooms were comfortable. 3 outdoor hot tubs, dry sauna, bed comfortable. Was super clean, dog friendly, cute continental breakfast, restaurant and pub on site, flowers everywhere. Office had notes and signs that were funny and honest. Lots of dog space, poop bags were offered. Lovely place all round.

I was worried about not getting there before 10pm to check in as the office is closed by that time. We were traveling from Surrey BC and the traffic was atrocious but we made it and the front desk guy even told me I could relax haha

Food at the restaurant was all great. Reasonably priced, and good portions. Location was great, about 5 minutes west of the main Revelstoke townsite. If youre sledding, there is a fenced compound with fuel accessible. Lots of parking spaces for big rigs/trailers. 3 hot tubs for the days end. 3 friendly dogs roaming the property. Of all, the whole family run staff was amazing. Professional and friendly. One of the best customer experiences ive ever had. Overall great stay, and great place!

The rooms are a bit out dated, but they are in the process of giving the place a face lift. They only do house keeping if youre staying less than 2 nights, which i thought was weird. But not a big deal

We really enjoyed our overnight stay here. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We dined at the hotel and the food and drinks were just what we needed after a long day of driving. The upside was not having to travel into town. Our room was well appointed, comfortable and quiet. We both enjoyed a solid night of sleep in the comfortable bed. The takeaway breakfast bag was a nice touch and we valued the contents on our drive through the Rockies to Calgary.

It is a family run business and they accept pets! They had dogs around the property and they were all friendly. The room was as described and had all the amenities you would expect. Weird but they had the cleanest vents in the bathroom I’ve ever seen In a hotel. Lol 🤷‍♀️ They had bags already packaged for a takeout breakfast. Fabulous idea. A banana an apple a berry oatmeal bar and a yoghurt with a spoon, and also a muffin. Apparently they have two or three hot tubs behind the hotel which we didn’t have time to use them.

Only one table space on one side of the bed. I had a cpap machine that took up that space.

The owners of Peaks Lodge couldn't have been more helpful and friendly... taking the time out to make sure that I was happy with my stay. The lodge has so much more charm than a generic hotel while providing the amenities you would expect Outside the room was a nice seating area and hot tub for guest use. The hotel restaurant / bar is excellent... try their ribs! Located just outside town the mountain views are an added bonus.

What we most liked was the personal approach. We met members of the family, they all participate in running the hotel. Friendly and helpfull. Also the extra's like the outside fireplaces, hottubs (perfect after rafting tour) and very important for travelers: a washingmachine and dryer, each tumble for $1,- The maintenence is up to modern standerd. In the morning you get coffee, thea and breakfast to go in the bar

The rooms are a little outdated. There is not much space to move around in the room. Near our room we could use the shared sitting room Al functions well and beds are comfy

The smell of the BBQ was fantastic, I liked the various areas to sit and enjoy being outdoors. I liked the family feel with the kids and dogs. The bed was very comfy and the tub in my room (303) was a treat! My stay in Revelstoke was part of my return trip home to Vancouver Island and as a matter of fact, on the ferry, I chatted with a man looking for accommodation in Revelstoke and I recommended Peaks Lodge to him and his family :)

I didn't realize I would be so close to the HWY. I was a little disappointed in the traffic noise but that had nothing to do with the staff. Just an oversight on my part. The view was still amazing and it was a peaceful pleasant stay.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were very comfortable in our cabin and the food at the restaurant was delicious! The bagged breakfast in the morning was an awesome touch. The day after we checked out I realized that I had forgotten to pack my daughters favorite stuffed animal! I contacted the property and they had found the stuffed animal. They were amazing and mailed the beloved toy to my daughter. It was so appreciated and really showed how much they care about their guests and the families that stay with them. Highly recommend this accommodation!!
