The home is gorgeous! Our room was lovely, clean, comfortable, with a good-sized closet and a fridge. The bathroom is large and modern. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and enjoyed in the gorgeous dining room. The cookies were also very tasty! It was also very quiet in the house and neighborhood. Marisca was an excellent hostess! We would definitely stay again. We didn’t have time to take advantage of the terrace but it was very inviting! It’s a little over an hour to drive from there to the Hopewell Rocks. It was a pretty drive and we did it two days in a row to see the tides. We didn’t feel Maplehurst Manor was too far, especially considering the value and beauty of the home. We came down from PEI and the GPS at first directed us to go on a long stretch of dirt road. If you are coming from the north, you will want to go by way of Sackville and get on the 106, which passes right by the house (and can be followed to go to Hopewell Rocks as well).

No complaints at all!

We stayed only one night at this beautiful manor, as a stopover, but would have loved to have stayed longer! Marisca and Jeff are the sweetest hosts; they know the true meaning of hospitality! The room is super clean, large and tastefully decorated, the bathroom spacious and modern and you have access to a small fridge and coffee and tea facilities in the room with delicious freshly baked cookies and muffins as a treat. Breakfast is delicious and prepared with great care! Puppy Rosie is a treasure and would love to play with you all day 😁. Marisca and Jeff, we hope to come back one day, thank you for taking such good care of us!

the room and specially the bathroom were very luxurious. The manor was renovated with lots of love. The owner was really nice. sadly we could not taste the Breakfast due to a family emergency. the owner was very open and gratuitous and offered to pay for our breakfast in town or lower the price of the room and we got a room upgrade. we did have the homemade cookies thou and those were really good. I bet the breakfast would have been great too. The town seemed really nice driving through.

There are no restaurants in town. the next town is 15min away and has everything you need. There are cats in the house. we are not allergic but to some this could be a problem.

Everything! We are on a several thousand mile driving trip across Canada and the US. We have stayed in several types of lodging, many quite nice. I can honestly say that Maplehurst Manor is the nicest place we have stayed. The hosts are lovely people and they have done a beautiful loving job of restoring this house to a wonderful oasis. They make great cookies too!

There is nothing to dislike, but you should be aware that as is to be expected the bedrooms are on the second and third floors so there are some stairs to climb

The hosts were very personable and friendly. The king-size bed was so comfy that it was like sleeping on a cloud. Breakfast was very good each morning, and the house was renovated nicely. Sitting on the terrace in the evening was very relaxing.

Rooms did not have central air but had lots of windows. We were asked to enter through the back door, but coming in the front door would have been more welcoming and made for a grander entrance.

I liked everything about our stay! It was perfect! Marisca seemed to have thought of every detail. We were welcomed warmly, “hygge” atmosphere. So many personal touches. The breakfast was amazing, my husband and I shared our plates and I can’t decide if I liked the eggs Benny or the pancakes more! Rosie, the 15 week Aussie-doodle, was so sweet and adorable. This was THE idyllic Bed and Breakfast experience.

NOTHING! Can’t think of one thing.

I think this is one of the nicest bed and breakfasts I have ever stayed. In. The room and bathroom were of extremely high-quality. The bed was comfy. There were two nice chairs to sit in and read. The bathroom was huge and had a clawfoot bathtub that was so nice. There was also a wonderful shower in that room as well. There was a Keurig in the room and wonderful cookies on arrival. As if the accommodations weren’t nice enough, breakfast was a gourmet feast. My husband had the eggs Benedict and I had the lemon ricotta pancakes and they were perfection. I would highly recommend this bed-and-breakfast. PS we also got a package of cookies for the road. ❤️

The home is spectacularly beautiful. Our hostess greeted us like old friends. The bed felt like laying on a cloud would feel like. The clawfoot tub was made for me and there was even a jar of epsom salts and bath bombs. I was able to read my book on the bamboo bath tub caddy. The shower was a challenge to use bc I've never had a full body spray shower so I accidentally got cold but it was all worth it. The tea and coffee was lovely. A roof top patio to enjoy the stars and sunrise. Breakfast was divine. I chose the eggs benedict and even the biscuits were baked fresh. The lemon herbed ricotta pancakes were the best I have ever had. And the bonus was Winston - the poodle - who sat quietly admiring us while we indulged and of course I shared my breakfast sausage for a paw.

ummmmm.... milk in the fridge and not just cream... but also, upon asking our hostess gleefully gave us both so I can't really complain.

For us, it was off the beaten path but worth any detour. The room was exquisite! The quality of the linen, the beauty of the huge onsuite, superclean, home made cookies in the room, delicious and generous choices for breakfast, etc. Very welcoming; Marisca( the owner) is a gem! The roof terrace was a bonus! So peacefull and beautiful. Worth every penny! We would go back if ever in the area.

We wish we could have stayed longer...😊 The waterfront was the only thing missing. Oh well!

Excellent breakfast. The hosts were very nice and welcoming.

Booking.com did not represent the location correctly, I asked for near to hopewell rocks. Would work if I was a bird, but was over an hour from the property. The property owners were lovely and tried to be helpful but this is a problem that you as the booking site should be held responsible for.
