Côté's Bed & Breakfast

Breakfast was sufficient….juice, fruit dish, French toast (for me) and scrambled eggs, ham and toast (for my hubby), coffee. -Loved the welcoming committee…3 beautiful dogs that just love having people around - cleanliness of the room and all the little extras…chocolates amongst others - comfort of the beds; rocking chair in the room - the pleasure of talking with the owner and her assistant Yvette…

We were greeted by Lily, the standard poodle. She was friendly and welcoming! Norma checked us in and we were giving the Yellow room at the top of the stairs. It was a beautiful and cozy room. Tastefully decorated. Breakfast was delicious, fried eggs and ham with toast and jam. Fruit salad and yogurt to start.

We were hoping to have an earlier time for breakfast. Our time was 8:15. We made the most of our time by having a coffee in our room, Doug went to get gas and ice for our cooler while I got ready. We were also packed and ready to go, so it really wasn't a disadvantage. We had a 7.5 hour drive that day so we were off to a great start with that wonderful breakfast!

We enjoyed our short stay at this B&B that is perfectly located close to the highway and in a very quiet area. Our room was spacious, comfortable, had TV, small fridge, and had a terrace where we sat in the evening. We were pleasantly surprised when we found a bowl with chocolates and mints. Bathroom was well stocked and we found plenty of soft white towels. We got to choose what we prefer to have for breakfast which also included homemade jam and local maple syrup all served in fine china. That made us feel special! We enjoyed chatting with kind host Norma and other guests who stayed at this B&B many times.

We had a choice for breakfast and it was fabulous. The staff was very friendly. It was in a great location to the main town and the falls. If we weren't so exhausted we would have walked to them.

It is a very pet (dog) friendly place and was very clean. As a fault on my part, I did not realize this and I am allergic to dogs. We were only there one night and only to sleep, so my allergies didn't bother me.

We had a beautiful room with comfortable beds. The breakfast was fantastic (French toast, ham & eggs, hot coffee, whole pot of tea). It was very close to downtown and several restaurants were suggested by the owner. One of the best B&B we have ever stayed in and we've stayed in a lot across Canada and Europe. Will recommend Cote's to everyone.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

We were in the Yellow Room. The room is very clean and bed is very comfortable. We had very restful sleep. Host was friendly. Lily, the goldendoodle was very welcoming and loves being patted. Location was on a quiet street and within walking distance to Grand Falls. Breakfast was a choice of ham & eggs, or pancakes. We chose ham & eggs on brown toast. They were delicious!!! Highly recommend staying her if you are at Grand Falls!

Such a cozy house with a welcoming and friendly host. The dog and cats made us feel right at home, and the home-cooked breakfast was intimate in all right ways. The rooms were comfortable and homey, and we really enjoyed how close the property was to the falls. Norma is an excellent host, and making conversation with her was easy and pleasant.

Our Plum room was very comfortable with a sofa. we had a good nights sleep. Norma provided everything a traveller needs for an overnight stay. can highly recommend Linda’s Kitchen for take away food, which Norma will heat up for you later. lovely breakfast of ham and eggs with fruit. A very enjoyable

Delicious, only more than I could eat and I do hate to waste food. OK, maybe Lily made sure it wasn't wasted.

With two spinal fusions and a new knee, I found the stairs steep and difficult to maneuver with luggage. Perhaps I should have read this somewhere in the description before booking, but I didn't. However, once I got up the stairs, the room was very comfortable.

Norma was a really friendly hostess and was gracious when we called ahead to say we'd be a little late due to traffic. Our room was really spacious and had absolutely everything we needed, plus quite a few extras. The young lady who served us breakfast was equally friendly and nice. We would definitely go back.

We liked everything except that our stay was a short one.
