Super 8 by Wyndham Windsor NS

Very friendly staff and accommodating, probably one of the comfiest beds I've slept in, loved that it was dog friendly, great pool and hot tub and amazing waterslide! Great that breakfast was included too, none others did in the area.

My only complaints would be it's a bit outdated and some of the furniture in the room was dinged up, and the breakfast buffet could use some more selection - I'm lactose intolerant and my fiance is diabetic and we found the options a bit lacking for us. Other than that, great little gem!

Hotel was very clean..a rarity nowadays even in pricer hotels. Linens were beautiful and plentiful. Great location..you can walk to several convenience/ fastfood or a major grocery store.The BEST part of our stay was the receptionist!! I think her name was Emily( she worked eve shift (Oct28/29). She was so genuinely friendly, great sense of humor,efficient and went out of her way to be helpful with whatever little emergency popped up during the weekend of my sons wedding. Every one of our family and friends that stayed at the hotel commented on her service afterwards.

If I had to choose one thing it would be the pool..I only stay at hotels with pools because we are a family of fish lol. The pool is WAY too shallow to swim in. That being said however,the slide was fun and the shallow water was perfect for my granddaughter who is a toddler. The hot tub was lovely as well.

The Super 8 had a lovely staff. Their breakfast was good. We were going thru a major tropical storm and even though we lost power, it came back quickly. Coffee was good. Room was clean. Had window that could be opened.

Room smelled musty. The room was also very dark. tie backs on the curtain would help. Finally the TV selection was limited and the remote did not work for channeling or volume. We used plastci bags for tie backs to let the sun in.

They upgraded us which was really nice. We had a room which had a hot tub next to our king size bed. Everything was clean and orderly. Suprisingly enough, we were on the first floor and it's pretty soundproof. We barely heard the people on the floor above. Breakfast was good. Check-in and check-out were super simple. We really enjoyed the pool and the waterslide. We needed one night of repleshing after 2 weeks of vacation, such as doing washing and ordering in. Super 8 was perfect for that.

Super 8 hotels do attract a certain type of clientele but if you're aware of this, you'll have a great stay. Keep in mind also that there's a waterslide here, so there will be alot of kids.

The food that was offered was alright. There was plenty of room to sit. Area seemed to be clean. The room was a good size and clean. The bed was comfortable.

Selection of food was great. Not like before COVID. Also didn’t like the fact that the person refilling the pancake machine was coughing and hacking. No mask and not coughing into their arm. People in the room were all looking. The hotel was very noisy due to a hockey tournament and kids playing hockey in the hall.

this was our third time staying here, we loved it! the pool keeps the kids incredibly entertained while cable tv keeps the husband entertained, and this mom actually got to relax 🙏🏼

the room advertised a Queen bed with bunk beds, the bed was smaller than ours at home so we think it was a double rather than a queen, and there were only 3 extremely flat uncomfortable pillows between two of us so we did wake up very sore the next day.

The accommodations were clean. The pool and whirlpool were great. Really liked the waterside. I liked that it was off the beaten path so it was quiet. Not to far from a superstore McDonald's and Tim Hortons so we could walk there. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

The prices this summer are exorbitant everywhere. Had to spend a night before an early flight from Stanfield airport. This was a great location, traffic wasn’t a challenge and price was only reasonable one within the city at the time of the booking. The staff was exceptional and the little pancake machine :)

Everything was great, Good location, Swimming pool, Customer service at reception and breakfast too. Usually when you go to a hotel with a dog they charge you extra but they did not, which I really liked about them and girl at the reception during afternoon shift around 05pm on 5th November was super nice and helpful. Keep up the good work😊

Amazing staff,great location,VERY clean rooms,comfy beds, quality towels,ample parking. Cant comment on breakfast..none of us made it down lol.

If I had to pick one thing I didn't like it would be that I couldn't swim..the pool is very shallow. That said however, my granddaughter loved the pool..it was perfect for children and has a great waterslide. Also has a hot tub
