Marriott Fairfield Sudbury

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay, staff was very friendly, room was clean, pool was great and hot tub made for a great way to relax after a busy day of sight seeing and shopping. Even though we’re on the main floor and there were kids playing in the pool yelling etc, we couldn’t hear it from our room which was nice and quiet. Good options for breakfast, even with a few food sensitivities it was easy to find something for everyone. Check in and check out was a breeze and close to great shopping and cineplex.

We enjoyed everything about this stay, will be returning when we are in the area.

It was clean and quiet, staff were friendly and cared about the space and guests. The free breakfast and all the options were appreciated.

The gym is VERY tiny even for a hotel gym. There was carpet cleaning while we were there requiring guests to move their stuff and be out of the room. Unless the hotel was at capacity I imagine the cleaning could have been done over a couple of days so guests didn't need to move their stuff

The hotel was very clean, both in the room and in the common areas. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. We were impressed by the friendliness of the staff. The location is ten minutes to Cambrian College, two minutes to many restaurants, stores, and a movie theatre, and ten minutes to downtown Sudbury.

It's a little tricky to find the entrance to the parking lot - signage could be better. The parking lot also feels dark at night.

I chose this hotel because when I called around the staff here were so friendly and welcoming, so much more than the other hotels. When we arrived, every single staff member we came in contact with was outstanding. The hotel is very clean, they follow all covid protocols and our room was also very clean as well. My kids enjoyed swimming in the pool, the area is kept very clean and they limit how many people can be in there. We had the complimentary breakfast at the hotel, there were lots of choices and the woman serving the food was so friendly and nice. She went above and beyond to make sure my girls had whatever they wanted, was so fun and friendly, really amazing customer service.

This hotel may be a little more dated than others in the area, however, again, I chose it due to the customer service, that makes up for it in every way.

Location was perfect, near to all the shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed the breakfast, especially because the woman who runs the breakfast area was so exceptional. She was friendly, everything was so organized and clean.

The room was a little small/compact for our family of four however for the price and amount of time we were in the room we were able to tolerate that. Pool area was nice and clean, however a bit small. Thankfully there was not a lot of use so it did not get crowded.

The room was very clean and the beds were nice and comfortable. The front staff were all speedy, professional and very pleasant. The breakfast was excellent, with hot items, pastries, fruit, the works. And the breakfast room staff were also very pleasant and accommodating. Recommend.

The toilet kept running but we took care of it ourselves.

I liked that the internet easily accessed. The location was great. The hours for the pool were fantastic.

The beds were uncomfortable to sit on to sleep was terrible. Woke sore both days. The staff, one in particular was not very nice while explaining the schedule for hhe pool with regards to children.. found the rooms small. The breakfast was bland, but there were many choices.

The staff were extremely helpful. The front desk staff went out of their way to make are stay comfortable. The ladies in charge of breakfast were fantastic. The women in charge handled the morning service almost single handed. She was just fantastic, warm, friendly and so competent! We really enjoyed our stay and the staff made all the difference.

The hot breakfast was much appreciated, especially during COVID times. The two staff members serving breakfast did their best to serve the many guests' individual breakfast requests, as we chose from eggs, ham, potatoes, baked beans, bagels, toast, cereals, yogurt, juice, coffee, tea, and more. We were given an accessible room because that's what was available, so we enjoyed the extra spaciousness of the layout and bathroom.

The line for breakfast was very long and slow (30-45 minutes). The two servers were valiantly working as quickly as possible. Perhaps an extra pair of hands would keep things moving more quickly. The door connecting to the next room was not particularly sound-proofed, so hearing loud conversations from next door was a bit annoying. But the A/C fan provided enough white noise that we still slept well.

Staff was so accommodating and the breakfast that was included was amazing! Make your own waffles, eggs, bacon, yogurt, cereal... and much more selection... couldn't ask for more really.

Prices are going up everywhere, but at over $200 a night after taxes and fees, it was on the more expensive side.
